•Natalie's POV•

This morning I was blessed enough to find Athanasios sleeping soundly beside me. He looked like a god as he slept. Even the sun was shining directly onto his defined abs. I blushed heavily as I remembered his words last night.

That small underwear of yours looks sexy on that cute ass.

What was he doing to me? How could I fall so quickly? I suddenly felt a warm hand run over my sides. Tingles shot up my spine as our skin connected. "Good morning love," His gruff voice sounded from behind me. "Good morning," I answer. He begins to wrap his large limbs around me, making me feel like an ant next to him.

My senses were running wild as his intoxicating scent was filling my nostrils. "Would you like to visit your mother again today?" He asks and I nod in response. I want to spend as much time with her as I can. I know I'm not going to be here for long so I'll try to make the most out of the time.

"Let's get ready so we can go," I suggest before trying to get up. That quickly failed.

"No!" Athanasios quickly protested. He swiftly pulled me atop of his chest and cradled my body close to him. I felt his grip on me tighten. "I wanna stay in bed with you, my little mate." He growls in my ear. He wasn't lying when he said little. My small form could fit on his chest easily.

I sighed as I sat in thought. It was almost impossible for me to say no to this man. "Fine," I let out with a pout. Without warning, he begins placing sweet kissing up and down my neck and along my jaw. "Mine," he growls as he makes it to my ear. I rest my head on his chest as I cherish my time with him.

"Hi," My mother smiles as she opens the door. She seemed less grumpy than she was yesterday.

"Come inside," My mother steps aside and makes room for us to pass through. Once we were inside, I question her attitude. "Mom, why are you acting so weird? Yesterday you seemed a little grumpy." I point out. She gives a soft smile.

"After I saw how Athanasios protected you, I had a little change of heart. Maybe he isn't so bad for you. I know you are eighteen but I would still like someone out there to look after you." She explains. I felt a grin tugging at my lips. She didn't despise him! I felt much better knowing my mom supports my relationship. I would continue to be with him either way but still, it felt better.

"Would you guys like anything to drink?" My mother asks, leading us into the kitchen. Athanasios looks towards me for a response. "Just water," I tell her. "And you Athanasios?" She asks while getting the cups. He shrugs his broad shoulders. "I'm fine for now. Thank you."

I felt like a guest in my own home. The house I grew up in. I wanted to tell my mother that I could get my own water but I felt like it would be rude to go in my own fridge.

While my mom got me my water, I slipped my smaller hand into Athanasios' large one. His hand was rough and masculine. My hand disappeared as he closed his paw around it. I looked up to meet his eyes only to realize he already had his gaze fixed on me. If this is what love felt like then I wanted it. If love was that tingle I felt every time we touched and the blush that covered me then I craved it.

My mother soon placed two cups of water in front of us. Athanasios was about to protest when my mother shot an arched brow his way. He quickly swallowed his words and lifted the cup to his lips. "Jaxon seemed to take everything well after you two left. He said he knew he would lose you sooner or later." I felt Athanasios' hand tighten around mine.

I squeezed his hand to tell him that all was alright. "To be honest I'm glad you found someone else. Jaxon was just one of those people you don't even have a valid reason to not like. But you," she points a finger at Athanasios. "I like you." She says.
