Harry groaned as he woke up to the sound of his phone going off. It sounded as if someone was calling him as much as the alert was dinging, but it was just multiple texts all being sent to his phone. Got to love the group chat function. Harry sighed as he sat up in his bed and ran his hands over his face. It was barely after four am and he was exhausted.

After waking up a bit, he grabbed his phone off the charger from the bedside table and looked at the messages. They were mostly from Nick, his supervisor/ best friend, who had sent the breakfast and coffee orders for everyone during the Breakfast Show at BBC. See, Harry was twenty-four and finishing up his last semester in University, which happened to be a full-time internship at BBC 1 radio.

Harry loved music and everything about it. He enjoyed going to concerts and listening to music in the car, while he was in the shower, cleaning, etc, so when it came down to finding out what he wanted to do for the rest of his life, or at least for the time being, he decided on the radio. So, he found a university nearby that offered a majoring program in radio broadcast as well as music production. He had taken all of his core classes and all that was left was the internship.

As soon as he interviewed with Nick almost a year ago, they both got on really well and quickly became friends after that, which probably wasn't exactly professional, but with a radio show, it was best for everyone to be friends because you need great chemistry to have a successful show. It wasn't unheard of for radio DJs and some of their other producers to spend time together outside of work.

Harry loved working on the radio show. He loved the people. He loved watching the live lounges and sort of meeting a few of the artists who stopped by on occasion, but he was still just an intern, so he mostly got made coffee runs, filed paperwork, and made sure the artists had everything they requested for their visit. There had only been a few times when he was actually on the air as a fill-in when someone was out on holiday or out sick.

Harry typed out a quick reply saying he'd be there in about an hour before getting out of bed and jumped into the shower. Once he was washed and cleaned, he wrapped a towel around his waist and headed over to his closet. He lived in a decent sized flat.

It was a one bedroom, one bath with a nice sitting area for a living room outside of his kitchen. Luckily he was getting paid a little something for his internship since he was working full-time, but it wasn't a huge amount of dollars that's for sure. He pulled on a pair of black skinny jeans onto his legs and threw on an old Fleetwood Mac concert tee. He ran the towel through his hair again and quickly styled it before grabbing his phone and heading into the other room.

He laced up his vans and grabbed his jacket from the rack and pushed his arms through. He took his keys and his wallet from the glass bowl on the table near the door and headed out. One good thing about flat living was that he was somehow able to find close enough to most anything, so he didn't have to have a car.

Well, he had one, but it just wasn't working right now and he didn't have enough money to fix it. So, he kept it at his Mum's house and either walked or took the tube or caught a ride with his friends. He got to the coffee shop near the BBC Radio studio and walked inside.

It wasn't hugely packed with people at 4:45 am mostly because everyone didn't have jobs they had to be at that early in the morning, but there were a few people. Usually, the ones were there were ending their night out with coffee before heading home to sleep or head to their jobs or there were people who worked a late shift and were stopping by for breakfast before heading home.

There were about three people ahead of him in line so he only had to wait a few minutes before placing in the order. Once he paid for everything, he stood over to the side as he waited for the food and drinks. He was looking through his emails to see if anything excited was going on during the show today when he heard the ringing of the bell as someone entered the shop.
