As soon as your lips pressed against Harry's, he placed his hands at your sides and pulled you closer to him. You took the keycard out of his hand reaching behind him to unlock the door. He pulled you inside and shut the door, pressing you up against it as he deepened the kiss. Your hands went to the buttons of his shirt as you started unbuttoning them one by one.

Just as you started to push the fabric down his arms, he sighed pulling his lips from yours.

"We can't do this," he whispered.

"Why not?" You sighed.

"Because this doesn't feel right... not like this," he whispered. "Not until we lay everything out between us. If we're going to do this... I don't want it to just be about sex, I want a real relationship... but I-"

"I know you have something you want to say, but I don't want you to feel like you have to tell me right now," you whispered.

"If I don't tell you right now... I'll never tell you," he whispered. "Besides it's not fair to you for me to keep this from you. You deserve to know why I left that night ..."

"Okay, you're right. I do," you nodded. "And if you're ready to tell me, I'll listen."

Harry pulled his shirt back over his shoulders and lazily buttoned it back up. He had missed a few buttons, so it fits a little wonky. You held back a giggle because you knew this was a serious matter and he was nervous. He sat down on the bed, motioning for you to sit next to him. You sat down, crossing your legs as you watched him. His hands were shaking as he twisted a ring around his finger.

"Firstly I want to say, I didn't leave that night because I didn't want to be there or because I didn't want to be with you," he said. "I left because... I felt like I shouldn't be there."

You looked at him confused, "What do you mean? Did you think I didn't want you there?"

He shook his head, "No, it's not that... it's... think about it, Y/N. We're from two different worlds. It's not you... but the world that you're in. You travel the world, performing in front of thousands of people for most of the year. You attend award shows and parties with other famous people. Hell, most of your friend's celebrities. You live in a several million dollar home in LA, you drive amazing cars, you wear designer clothes. While I've only traveled to a few places in my entire life, I get paid a shit salary, the only parties I go to are drunken house parties, my flat is the size of a fucking shoe and I don't even have a car," he said.

"I'm not saying that all of those things matter, but we're in two different worlds, Y/N. It's only going to be a matter of time before that's going to cause an issue. Your ex-boyfriends were these huge ass stars and I'm a fucking intern. People are going to think I'm with you for your money or some shit and I just... you deserve someone who-," he whispered.

"Don't," you interrupted."Don't finish that sentence."

You grabbed his hand and laced your fingers with his, "I understand why you feel that way and you're right, we are in different worlds. But that doesn't mean we can't be together. I like you for you. I don't care about the flat you live in, your job, or what clothes you wear. Yes, my exes were in the business, but you know what.. that's part of the reason why we didn't work out. Everyone thinks it's easier for us to be in relationships with people in the business, but it's harder."

"I just don't want to ever embarrass you because of who I am and what I do," he whispered.

"I'd never be embarrassed by you," you said. "Harry, I don't care what other people think or might say about our relationship. All I know is that I like you... I like the way I feel when I'm with you. The way I feel in your arms. The way you make me laugh. All of that is more important to me than the opinions of others, who don't matter."

He smiled a bit bringing his lips to your hand as he squeezed it.

"So, is that what's been bothering you this whole time?" You asked. "Why did you just tell me that night instead of leaving?"

He shrugged with a blush, "I was ashamed of feeling like that... I mean I hate to word it this way, but I shouldn't feel that way because I, one, found someone that I have strong feelings for and then, two, you're fucking amazing, but yet, I felt like I wasn't good enough. I didn't want to admit it out loud, much less to you... but then I realized that was holding us back and I didn't want that anymore."

You looked into his eyes, placing a hand against his cheek, "I don't want you to ever feel ashamed about something like that again... and if you do, please tell me."

"I will, I promise," he whispered. "No more secrets or running away."

You smiled wrapping your arms around him. He did the same to you and kissed the top of your head.

"So, what does this mean now," you whispered. "I want us to be together, but I also want you to know what that means. The more time we spend together... the more of a chance we'll be getting photographed together and that will cause rumors and people will be wanting to know about us and about you... I just want to make sure you're ready for that especially knowing how you've been feeling."

"I know it's going to be hard," he whispered. "And I don't know if Im ready for that, to be honest, but I'm willing to face all of that as long as it means I get to have you."

"Are you sure?" You whispered.

This time, it was him, who pressed his lips against yours, signaling his answer.
