(Yeah, but can it go too far?)

"Suck gas, evil doer!"

"Eat electrolytes, do gooder!"

The Masked Mallard™ is face to face with his arch nemesis Megavolt, arguably the most powerful (and the most electrifying) villain in all of St. Canard, in an attempt to stop him from using his latest invention, the Module-Wave. The two fire back and forth, gas guns and lightning, in the dead of night, with lit up buildings and billboards that shone off of them being their only source of light. With his precise timing, Darkwing leaps over the rodent's attacks of electric discharges on the rooftop of an apartment, his dark cape flowing behind him.

(Note: THe Masked Mallard™ is trademarked upon request by Darkwing Duck himself. He had some legal problems with that name back in the 80's and he would like for it to be protected.)

"I won't let you stop me, Dimwing! Do you even know how long it took me to get this thing up here?!" Megavolt complains as he runs over to the giant satellite. He grabs a giant cord and plugs it into a metal plate on his chest. The Module-Wave whirs and flashes as Megavolt laughs in triumph.

"Don't celebrate too early, Sparky. For I am the terror that flaps in the night! I am the power outage in the middle of the Superbo-woah-woah-ahh!!" Darkwing is sent flying back to the edge of the building by a soundwave. Don't look down. Don't look down. Don't look- "Nope, nope, nope!" He scrambles back to safety.

"Face it, duck! You're no match for my genius!" Megavolt stops and thinks to himself, "And that one really smart girl..." He leans dreamily on a lever, accidentally setting it off. The Module-wave sends out another sound wave, this time in every direction, sending Megavolt back as well as Darkwing, who was just in the middle of trying to get up.

"Oops."

"Ha!" cheers Darkwing as he gets up a second time. "That's what you get for- Wait, what were you saying about a girl?"

Oops. Did he say that out loud?

"Yeah! That one girl who almost ruined my plans last time actually helped me out with this one! Who knew she'd turn out to be so bright?" Megavolt gets back up and holds down a large, green lever. "Note to self: no more levers."

Darkwing's eyes widen. He was quite taken back! More taken back then those darn sound waves that almost flung him off the building. Her? Out of all people? Helping Megavolt? "Wait, wait, wait," He flails his arms around in slight hysteria. "Are you sure we're talking about the same girl here?"

Megavolt lets out an exasperated sigh. "Yes, I'm sure! Now, can we get back to fighting? I have other things to do besides take over the city, you know." The mutant sets up the satellite for another attack.

The Masked Mallard™ shakes his head in recollection. "Oh, right. Sorry about tha- Wait a minute, I'm the hero!! Why am I apologizing to you?!"

"I don't know, LaunchPad. What if she's working with him?" Darkwing looks over at his pleasant pilot pal at the doorstep of this (not at all) mysterious girl's apartment.

LaunchPad reassures his friend. "Come on, DW. She's too nice and quiet for that!"

"But it's always the quiet ones..." Darkwing says to himself.

"Well she did seem pretty spooked when she found out that superheroes and villains were real. Heck, she didn't even know who you were!"

"That's... true... Well that's just great. Now I need to mentally rewrite my lecture."
