Frostbite's POV

"You were lying," said Python, glancing at Frostbite.

"What?" Frostbite sputtered.

"Don't fake it, I know," Python told Frostbite. "It's more obvious than you think. Tell me your real intentions here in the Rainforest Kingdom."

"Fine," Frostbite huffed. "You caught me. But its complicated."

"It's okay," replied Python. "I have all the time in all of Pyrrhia."

Frostbite huffed again.

Then she began her explanation. When she finished, it was already dusk.

"Interesting story," remarked Python. "But let's go eat dinner now."

Frostbite followed Python down onto an oversized platform. It was here where the RainWings ate. It was an eerie place, for there were glowing mushrooms on a giant tree as lights. Frostbite grew stiff. If only this place could be brighter... She glanced at the glowing mushrooms clinging to the tree.

She had a wonderful idea just then, but right when she'd thought of it, she lost it again. She sighed in frustration but was able to shove down a couple of bananas, although personally, she hated fruit.

Then Python led her to his platform, where at least two hundred fireflies were swarmed around it. Frostbite almost went blind looking at them.

"We'll rest here for the night," instructed Python.

Frostbite listened to the crickets chirping and gazed at the fireflies, but at the same time missing the silence of the place she called home.

It would be a long time before sleep would come to her.
