I woke up with a fright. The same horrible nightmare. The man dressed in black, reddish devil eyes, soulless grin and laugh. I rubbed the bridge of my nose as I sat up on the cloud I was lying on. The moon was a silky white and shone on my silky dress. I look around. No sound. I shake my large pale wings and they drop to my sides. I run my hand across the soft downy that covered my pennons and looked to the horizon.
I could go...to check on him...I get to my feet and walk pass the others who were sleeping. My velvety wings stayed at my side, the bitter sharp air rustling my wings. I shivered. I finally reached the pools; these areas allowed us to watch over our mortal. I walk to the first pool I see and sit down. The pool looked like any other puddle you would see in the mortal world, but I knew better.
I tap the surface with my finger and the ripples turn into an image. A man was sitting upright in his bed with sweat pouring down his pale face. He ran his fingers through his green and brown hair, laying back down. My eyes shut for a moment as I sigh; he was okay. Each angle has someone to watch over. I got a very energetic Irishman named Sean McLoughlin. He is a popular YouTuber in the mortal world, doing many games for his audience to watch. I personally thought he was a very kind person. Sacrificing hours of his life to make others laugh.
But not every angel would agree with me.
Many think he is too loud and extremely annoying. They criticize him for his way of doing things. That's why I'm often singled out in many things. But there is one; one angel that doesn't do any of those things. He is Lightiplier. He watches over Mark Fischbach, another popular YouTuber. Since Sean-more comely known as Jack- and Mark and amazing friends in the mortal world, Lightiplier and myself and extremely close as well. We have similar mortals so we understand what one another goes through. Our watching pools are always next to each other, not once have they been more than one pond apart. And in desperate times, we can serve as a shoulder to cry on for the other.
"I thought I'd find you here (Y/N), you weren't that quiet." I turn around, the pool fading back to normal. I smile.
"Hey Light..." He smiled warmly and sat down next to me.
"Your wings rustle loudly, woke me up. I followed you since you seemed...agitated. Are you okay?" Light asked. I pull my knees to my chest and pull my arms around them.
"J-Jack...Sean, he had another nightmare. S-So did I." I felt so stupid. Why was I being bothered by something so small?
"Could you tell me what yours are about? You don't have to." Light gave me a worried look. I sigh again.
"There was this man-no, he didn't seem mortal. He had black eyes with soulless red dots in them with a chilling laugh. He wore a black suite and his skin was a mix of tan and white." Light became alarmed and I bite my lip. "It-Its only a dream though. I'll be fine. I'm more worried about Jack. This is the seventh time this month he's woken up. I-I just want to go and make sure he's okay." Light rubbed my back.
"You know we can't go down to the mortal world. We'll become fallen. No angel has ever been able to survive becoming a Fallen Angel. I don't want that to happen to you." I give him a warm smile and he tackles me in a hug. Before I knew it my cheeks were buried in his chest and my feet were off the ground. I look back up to him to see him holding me bridal style, gliding through the air to the sleeping quarters. He planted his feet back onto the clouds and lay me back onto my cloud bed. He turned to leave but my hand shot out and grabbed his.
"Will you stay with me?" I ask sheepishly, a magenta blush crossing my face. He nodded and crossed his legs allowing his gossamer wings to hold him above the ground. I opened my mouth to say something but closed it as he shyly smiled.
"Just try to get some sleep. I'll be right here." He said; his deep voice was always calming so I bluntly nodded. My eyes slipped shut and that thing flashed through my vision. I bolted upright, startling Light. I curl into a ball again and allow my wings to cover my body like a shield. I didn't want him to see me like this. I felt warm hands push my wings aside and cup my chin. I look at Light. He had worry plastered all over his face.
"I-I'm fine." I stutter before he can ask.
"You don't look fine to me." I look to the floor, embarrassed. Then...He starts humming! I look at him, my embarrassment replaced with wonder and he continues. I found comfort in his deep voice and lay back down, facing Light. He allowed his wings to carry him above the clouds as his sweet voice continued his song. My eyes fell shut and I embraced sleep.
The quiet was comforting and peaceful. There was no sound, just a blissful silence...then a loud blaring can into earshot. I shot up and allowed my wings to carry me to the source of the trouble. I land at the gates of Heaven and see Light standing very still, looking very agitated. The sirens blared and lights flashed red, signaling that Heaven was under attack. I walk over to Light and place my hand on his coco skin.
    "Light are you-"
"He is perfectly fine...for now." My breath hitched as I looked to where the voice came from.
"Y-You! You were the thing from my nightmares."
"Indeed, I've been waiting for this moment to appear And here it is." The thing sneers.
"L-Leave Light alone! He didn't do anything wrong!" I shout. He gives a low chuckle.
"Who says?"
"I-I do. Why are you here?" I demand, my wings rustling in aggravation.
"I would have thought you'd known by now."
"Known what? What are you talking about!" I shake Lights shoulder. "Light we need to get to the others! Light!"
"Others you say? This may ruin my fun." I shake in fear but stand my ground.
    "Light! Light answer me! Please!"
"No matter how hard you cry, he won't answer. Ever again." With a swish of his hand Light began to dissipate.
"Stop what are you doing?" I cry as my best friend starts to fade away.
"He is becoming fallen. He won't survive." He cackles as I feel a few warm tears slide down my cheeks.
"Stop, leave him alone! I'll do anything! Just please stop!" I scream. He stops and smirks.
"Anything?" I nod. "Take his place. Become fallen instead of him." I think for a second.
"One the condition that you will never come to Heaven ever again." I demand. He growls.
"We have a deal." With one wave of his hand Light fell to the ground. I rushed over and helped him up.
    "Light! Are you okay?"
"I'm fine but what-is happening to your body?!" He yells. I look down and see that I am become in's more transparent.
"I did this to save you...I'm sorry." I whisper. He goes to take my hand but passes right through it. I give one last smile before the world becomes dark.

I am no longer in Heaven.
    I have become fallen.
