(Y/N)'s POV)
The night came faster that I would have liked but I had to deal with it. I pulled on the night guard outfit that Mark had let me borrow, saying that he probably wouldn't come back alive anyway. Probably over exaggerating.
"Host, I'll be staying the night in place of Mark. If you need anything you know I can see that cams, so do something to get my attention." I say pulling on the blue hat with the words Night Guard stitched into it with white thread. I went to visit him before my shift started, I just wanted to make sure he'll be alright. Host sprints over tome and grabs my shoulders; his bandage getting more and more damp with blood.
"Host is agitated that (Y/N) is staying the night and tells them that his is a bad idea." I pry myself off him and give him a worried look.
"Calm down Host, your bandage is getting soaked! Really want me to change it?" I knew Host hated getting his bandage getting changed, so when he heard these words he shook his head.
"Host tells (Y/N) he is only worried because evil lurks in the halls a night and Mark is the only one Host know that can keep it at bay. Host keeps encouraging (Y/N) to leave so she does't get hurt like Host and the others." This made me drop what was in my hands and grab him by the shoulders.
"What do you mean you guys get hurt?" I demanded. Host looks away.
"The man in the suite comes by every night at 12:00 to try to get Host and the others to do what he wants, but Host hears Mark scare him away. He is not so sure (Y/N) will be able to do the same because he will not take you seriously." I take in what he said and let go of his arms, looking around the room.
"Let's come up with a plan that will drive away this bisnitch." I say confidently. "All the others are gone and wouldn't believe us anyway, so lets come up with our own plan. Then you can prove to them you didn't kill anyone!" Host nods, the thought of getting out of his padded cell seemed to convince him to try.
"Host knows that when he first came, he did something to control the minds of the Host and the others. Host thinks that is has something to do with his voice."
"So we need to something to shut him up." I said in thought. The hours passed and we planed on what to do. As twelve rolled around we sat in his cell with noise-canceling headphones on. We heard a deep voice through them.
"Markimoo. Come out to play!" A voice sang. "Come my puppets, we have work to do." We shrank back and we heard all the cell doors open. Footsteps echoed through the quite halls and stopped in front of the door.
"Whats going on Host?" I whisper.
"Host is unsure of what is going on." He whispers back.
"Host, come out to play!" The voice sang out as the door handle jingled. I had locked to door under this precaution, but it began to creak open. "Well, well, well...what do we have here?" He walked over to us and I stood protectively in front of Host. "It seems that our precious Mark is gone, replaced by...this." I glared.
"What do you want?" I demanded.
"Straight to the point I see. I'm here to finish my plan, nothing you need to know of, that's for sure." I looked around and saw Host cowering in fear.
"You leave Host alone! He's not going anywhere with you." I say, pulling out a flashlight from my belt. I turn it on, pointing it in his eyes. He covered his eyes and I grabbed Host's hand, dragging him out of the cell and down the eerie hallways.
"Host asks (Y/N) why they did what they did." I pull him into another empty cell.
"I did it because your a good friend to me Host. I don't want you to be taken by the man in the suite. You don't deserve to be taken by him." Host smiles and pulls me into a hug.
"What a touching moment, but I really must end it." We let go of each other and turn to the door. The man in the suite was marking at us. His skin was white as snow and he gave off a 3-D look.
"Leave Host alone!" I yell. He laughs.
"Oh you misunderstand, I don't want Host anymore. I'm more interested in you my dear. You intrigue me, with how you treat Host." I was more confused than before.
"W-Wait, you don't want to take Host?"
"Host looks over to (Y/N) and see that they are confused. Host stands and tells (Y/N) that he is also confused." The man begins to approach Host and myself.
"Who are you?" I ask as my back hits the wall.
"Call me...Dark." The man pulls off the headphones on my head and twists my hands behind my back.
"Host goes to help (Y/N) but is suddenly stuck to the wall." Host is flung to the wall and struggles to escape, without much luck. I feel the mans breath against my ear.
"This will be over soon. Just you wait." The words sunk into my mind. I could feel my body relax. "Just rest, you'll see." I felt my eyes shut, with Host shouting at my not to. But I couldn't help it.My eyes shut welcoming darkness.
