Legacy Unbound (AoT/Blue Exorcist crossover fanfic)

Chapter One

A/N:

Hello! Welcome to my first Attack on Titan/Blue Exorcist crossover! This was originally called Armin the Exorcist, but I decided to change it.

Hello again, decided to republish this old work since I know some people miss it. But I won't be updating this story... I think I may as well rewrite the entire premise of the story all together. As of right now, I haven't caught up with either Blue Exorcist or Attack on Titan manga, only bits and pieces of AoT. So the new story will greatly diverge from both mangas.

I also plan out to write a majority of the chapters before I publish them along with another crossover I have in the works that involves the fandoms I'm more into nowadays.

The cover was made by xenojiva those many years ago (I think 2015... Damn, five years ago). So thank you again for the cover and good luck on your fanfics.

Armin gazes out into the abandoned city, the wind blowing his jacket and blonde hair. Titans nearly as tall as the buildings walk around, looking for any humans left to devour. His legs shake in fear as he looks at the carnage below him. Dead bodies of other soldiers lay lifeless on the ground, some of them are being eaten by Titans. Blood is everywhere and the smell makes Armin want to vomit right now. But he can't do it, because he has a mission to accomplish. To exterminate the Titans in this district. His hands start to shake and he looks around nervously.

"Hey brat, stop shaking." Armin flinches slightly at the stern voice at his left. He looks at the person and the person is a man who is really short. He has black hair styled in a undercut and haunting, yet intimidating grey eyes. Armin can't help but be scared of him.

"S-Sorry, Captain Levi."

"You better, there goes your friend now. Killing Titans."

Armin looks over at the other roof and sees his friend Mikasa killing three 7 meter class Titans. Her red scarf blows in the breeze as the Titans corpses evaporate. Armin can't help but be impressed by Mikasa's strength and speed. Using her 3-dimensional maneuver gear, Mikasa jumps off the roof and on to the next. Armin then looks for Eren and hears a yell. Looking over to his right, he sees a 15 meter titan with long hair. He is currently attacking another 7 meter class Titan with his fist. When he punches it, Titan blood spurts out everywhere. Armin shakes when he sees Eren in his Titan form, still shocked at how Eren slaughters the Titans. He feels someone tap his shoulder.

"Ok brat, time to get started." Armin looks back at Levi as he jumps off the roof they're standing on and uses his 3-dimensional gear to move to the next roof. Armin follows using his gear and the wind rushes past his face as he moves from roof top to roof top. Levi stops at a roof top and stares right at a 15-meter class Titan. Its mouth is in the shape of a frown and its eyes are huge. It slams its hand down to try to crush Levi, but Levi is faster and dodges in time for the Titans fist to go through the roof. Taking out his swords, Levi quickly slices through the back of the Titans neck, the weak spot of every Titan. Armin watches in amazement as Levi then goes to kill another Titan.

Looking back at the Titan Levi just killed, the body is starting to evaporate and releases a pungent odor. Armin covers his nose at the smell and watches the carcass of the Titan evaporate into nothing. Armin then uses his gear again and leaps onto another rooftop. There he sees Mikasa fighting a 15-meter Titan. The Titan uses its hand to try to crush Mikasa, but, like with Levi, fails as Mikasa jumps above its head. Its fist crashes into the roof and it howls at the loss. Mikasa comes down with her swords to try to kill the Titan. But, to Armin and Mikasa's shock, covers its neck with its hands. Mikasa cuts through its hands instead of its neck and she jumps into the same rooftop as Armin.
