Armin wakes up a few hours later and he can move his body more. He starts to sit up, only feeling a little bit of soreness in his muscles and decides to look around the room to give him a more perceptive understanding of how larger the room is. The room is a little bit bigger than when he was laying down in bed. A small coffee table sat a few feet away from the bed and on top a small rug the color of the sky. He glances around some more, trying to see if he missed any other details of the room and in the corner of his eye, he can see a window. The sunlight that's coming through the window seems to be setting and Armin looks at a small device on the nightstand near his bed.

He asked Shura what it was and she called it an 'alarm clock'. She also said it tells you what time it is in the day. Judging by the numbers, it's 6:30 pm and Armin notices that the tube is gone from his arm. He also asked Shura what the thing was in his arm and she told him that it's a tube to keep him hydrated. He stretches out his arm, which hurts a little from where the needle was sticking into his vein.

Just then the door opens and Armin looks to see a boy around his age, or maybe a little bit older, walking into the room. The boy has dark brown hair, glasses, blue eyes, four moles on his face, and what appears to be a uniform for an army of sorts. It's a long, black trench coat that goes to his knees and on his sides are weapon holsters with small guns that shine with the lowlight the room provides. The boy smiles at Armin, reminding Armin of Shura when he first met her a few hours earlier.

"Hello, my name is Yukio Okumura. I'm an exorcist. What's your name?"

"My name is Armin Arlert. And what's an exorcist?" he asks, very curious to know what an exorcist is. He heard it from the ball of light before being transported into this world and it has been nagging at the back of his mind since he first woke up.

Yukio looks at him with a little bit of shock, but remembers what Mephisto said to him the day Armin arrived.

Flashback

Yukio was walking down a torch lit hallway with Mephisto who was carrying Armin in his arms. He appeared to be unconscious and there were burn marks on his legs. He looked at Mephisto.

"So what's his story, Mephisto?"

"Ah, I was wondering when you were going to ask that." He looked down at the unconscious Armin. "He's from a completely different world."

Yukio looked at him with shock. "He's from Gehenna!!"

"No," said Mephisto. "He's from another dimension. His dimension is overrun by these beings called Titans. The humans of his world were almost brought to extinction by these things. The humans have no clue how the Titans originated."

"Why sir?" Yukio's voice had calm down.

"Because these Titans ate humans with no remorse or common sense. The humans fought against them, but Titans had the ability to regenerate limbs. Even if their heads are blown off, they can just regenerate a new head."

"My God...," Yukio muttered under his breath. "That's horrible to live with those monsters."

"Yes. Then the humans constructed three big walls to protect themselves. And they lived an uneasy peace for over a hundred years. Then came the incident."

"What incident?"

"Their years are different from ours. The boy in my arms lived in the year 850. The incident happened in the year 845."

"And what was the incident?" Yukio was getting annoyed that Mephisto was ignoring his earlier question. Mephisto sighs.

"Then one day, a Titan bigger than the wall itself made a big hole in the wall. And you can guess what happened next."
