Before you enter this journey, let me tell you how much I absolutely adore this enchanting tale. During my awkward high school years (I'm a university student now), I stumbled upon a story online titled The Jewel of Neverland. I began reading and just fell in love with the story: the magic, a fierce female lead, and of course Peter Pan.
TJON was created by a user by the name of Dreamer-Girl96 on fanfiction.net. (Go read the completed story on her page!) She is an extremely talented woman and I hope she becomes a published author one day because that is how good she is.
I had forgotten all about TJON as I grew older. But last summer, I stumbled upon it once more. I had never re-read a fanfiction before, but I decided to revisit Neverland. As I began reading, I was thrown back into the jungles of Neverland with its sparkling night skies, just as I had been years ago. But I found myself wanting to be even more submerged in the world Dreamer-Girl96 had created! So, I began to embellish it, adding details, scenes, changing bits and pieces. And here is that finished product.
This isn't only a OUAT fanfiction, it is an ode to Dreamer-Girl96's writing. Please enjoy this story, as have I.
