School ended today, and I was happy as ever to be out of it. I was just mad Richie and I had detention starting the next morning.

Two fucking weeks just for drawing a dick on the school. Now that was bullshit.

"Hey Jess," Richie said with a giggle, coming up to my locker, a big smile on his stupid face. He adjusted his glasses on his face as I shut my locker door and leaned against it, smiling up at him.

"What do you want to do today?" he pulled my hand into his, giving it a squeeze.

"I kind of promised Allie and Ashton we could go to the quarry since Allie wasn't with us the last time we went, but-"

"Wait wait wait," Richie cut my off, "are you saying you went to the quarry. With Ashton. Alone?"

I sighed, rolling my eyes, "Yeah? I've had sleepovers with Stan since we've started dating and you don't care about those. Ashton and I are just friends. I promise. I kind of have my eyes set on someone else."

Richie smirked, "oh really? And who would that be?"

"There's this really cute guy in my first period class," I began mock dreamily, "but I don't think he'll ever notice me!"

Richie giggled, swooping his hands around my waist and kissing my forehead, giving my butt a little squeeze before pulling away and leaning back on the locker. I rolled my eyes and smiled at his boyish action. Richie really liked touching my butt.

"Trust me. He definitely notices you, sweetheart."

I shook my head, continuing to speak again. "Anyways. I was planning on asking you if you wanted to the quarry with us. I already asked Stan if he wanted to come, but he already promised Caroline he'd do this really important thing with her."

Richie furrowed his brow, cocking his head to the side in confusion, "what really important thing?"

I shrugged, "beats me. He's been spending a lot of time with her lately. I think they have a thing going."

Richie nodding, grabbing my hand as we walked towards my car.

"Do any of your friends know we're dating?" I asked suddenly. I knew Richie hadn't been as close with his friends recently. Stan knew about our relationship, but all of Richie's friends had been rather distant with him. Richie had actually complained to me on many different occasions about them.

Bev and Bill were wrapped up in each other, and Ben was wrapped up in being jealous of Bill and avoiding everyone so he felt less uncomfortable. Brandy and Eddie were too busy eye groping each other to notice anything else, and Mike was always doing work on his farm. Stan was becoming increasingly distant, too, but he was still there.

"We need to stop by my house so I can change. Do you want to stop at yours too?"

Richie shook his head, "Can't I just swim in my boxers?"

"I guess," I said with a shrug, "whatever want."

We parked in front of my house, hopping out of the car and going to my front door.

I walked in, Richie trailing behind me. He hadn't been over since my parents had come home, and I hadn't properly introduced him to them yet. No boy I had ever dated had gotten far enough in a relationship for me to actually introduce him to my parents. It had only been a little over a week since they had come home and I had done everything in my power to avoid bringing Richie home.

I hurried up the stairs, pulling Richie behind me, praying my parents wouldn't notice him. Of course, I was wrong.

"Is that you, Jess?" My dad called, coming around the corner to see me hurriedly yanking Richie up the stairs.
