Hoseok noticed Jisoo was acting weird at the beginning of last week but now she seems better which is nice. He didnt know what happened last week but didn't want to ask anything too personal.  Though two nights ago his anxiety was creeping up again. And he knew exactly why. It was the anniversary of his parents death. It was coming up in two weeks, and every year the closer the day got, the worse he would get. He tried to work through it, tried not to think about it but nothing worked. And every year it got worse. His friends try and help him but theres only so much they can do.

He jumped out of fright as someone tapped his shoulder. Paranoia was one of the first stages. He looked over to see Jisoo smiling at him.

"Oh did I scare you? I'm sorry I didn't know you got scared easily." She giggled as she sat down next to him.

"Ah, its fine I just didn't hear you." He said back. It was lunch time and she started to sit with all of his friends this week. They all accepted her pretty quickly except Taehyung, they would never make eye contact. Jisoo was one of the nicest people Hoseok had ever met. She would always check on you and give you her food and just be so caring, in-fact Hoseok worried that she would care for everyone accept herself sometimes.

She always offered food to Hoseok since a lot of the time he couldn't afford lunch but he would always deny the offer and she would end up giving food to Jimin or Jungkook if they couldn't get lunch.

"Yah! Hoseok!" Jin snapped in front of his face making him jump and clench his heart.

"What?" Hoseok replied after calming his heart down.

"Ha, sorry but did you hear anything we just said." Jin asked and all the other guys waited to hear his answer.

"No sorry what was it?" Jin rolled his eyes and explained that they invited Jisoo over but was making sure everyone was ok with it including Hoseok.

"Oh, yeah that would be cool! Though I've got to warn you its an absolute pig sty" Hoseok says while covering his mouth with his hand trying to be quiet though all of his friends could still hear him.

"Oh I don't mind, my house isn't the cleanest either." She says while smiling. Hoseok always  smiled when he sees her smile. He has no idea why or how she does it but his anxiety seems to go down whenever he sees her smile.

They all talk a little bit more and after a long discussion and Jin totally disapproving they all agree to skip the second half of school together.

They find there way to an old abandoned tunnel that was used for mining trains back in the early 80's but was closed down after the mine went out of business.

"I really don't think we should go in there, its probably very unstable and it could collapse in on us!" Hoseok says trying to talk them out of it. His hands were cold and shaking from the fear of going in there.

"Then you can stay out here and make sure no one comes," Yoongi says as he is the last one to crawl under the yellow "do not trespass" tape.

"Ah don't worry Hoseok you don't have to come if you don't want too, keep a lookout will yah?" Jisoo says while waving and walking with the others in to the dark abyss.

Hoseok starts daydreaming to have the time pass by a little more quickly. After about 15 minutes of sitting down his legs start to shake not from the cold but from anxiety.

"Hobi!" Someone says quietly from the woods.

He looks around to see no one and hears nothing but leaves being brushed around by the wind. He shakes his head and looks down again.

"My sweet boy Hobi." The voice was distant but still clear.

"Mom?!" He says while standing up and looking around quickly turning his head back and fourth.

"Hobi" he starts running to the voice which after repeating his nickname had turned into two voices, his dads too. He keeps running and the voices seem to get more clear. He walks out of the woods and near a road, horrible flashbacks play over in his head.

After watching two movies Hoseok moves to the window to watch for his parents when they get home. After a few quiet moments he soon recognizes their car turning on to their street, he springs up and watches them drive closer to the house. There was a loud screech from a different road and a car seeming to sound closer, it was not his parents car. He watches in horror as the speeding car smashes into his parents after turning a sharp corner on his street. The sound of glass breaking and the collision of the two cars were horrible, unbearable as he covered his ears. He watched from the window to see if his parents would get out of the car, but they never did. He was about to move and go outside to check but as soon as he moved to get up, his parents car exploded into flames. Shocked and terrified Hoseok didn't know what to do, one of his kind neighbors called the cops and went to get Hoseok. Crying at the realization of what just happened this was something that can never escape his mind.

His breathing was out of control, he was hyper ventilating. These side effects weren't supposed to begin this early but they were and he didn't know what to do. He tried to get as far away from the road as possible and get back to where his friends were but his breathing made it difficult to walk. He fell on his knees as his vision got fuzzy, he breathed in and held it for seven seconds and then let it out slowly after doing this a few times he was able to get his breathing under a little bit of control and start walking back to his friends.

As he was walking he realized that he was crying so he quickly wiped away his tears hoping no one would notice. When he got back to the building there was no one in site. He checked the time to see that it has been almost two hours. He unlocked his phone to see all of his missed messages and calls from his friends. He called Jin immediately.

"Yah! Where the hell are you? We were all worried sick!" Jin yelled over the phone.

"I'm sorry, something happened and I lost track of time, I'll explain when I get home."

"Your not hurt are you?"

"no, I'm fine I will explain soon. See you at home."

Hoseok hung up and started to speed walk back to his place. He knew he would have to talk about his parents death in some way or another while explaining to them why he disappeared for almost two hours. He hated talking about it, for all it did was increase his anxiety.
