Guilt

Narrator

Taehyung ran to his room quickly while everyone bombarded him with questions except Hoseok. He felt guilty, extremely guilty because if he just called Jin back Tae wouldn't have gone looking for him. They watched as Tae went up the stairs and Hoseok looked back to Jin. Furry was in his eyes, Jin didn't even need to say anything for the look in his eyes said everything.

"What the fuck?!" Namjoon said to Hoseok.

"I-Im sorry" Hoseok said with his head down. Jimin ran up the stairs to check on Taehyung.

"Why couldn't you just answer your damn phone!?" Jin said before going off to the kitchen. Hoseok sighed in regret and went into the living room. He wanted to cry but didn't in front of his friends.

Jimin came downstairs. Jin and Namjoon went to him.

"What happened?" The both said in unison.

"He mumbled about his father hurting his sister again. Thats all I could get out of him... I- I think...he.....hurt him." Jimin said slowly. Jin and Namjoon sighed not knowing how to handle the situation. Jimin was sad to see Taehyung like this and he looked over to Hoseok to see him starring off into space.
Jimin walked angrily over to him and grabbed his jacket.

"Why hyung?! Why weren't you here!" Jimin said with anger but tears were forming in his eyes. Hoseok just stared at him not able to say anything. Jimin let go of his jacket and stormed of.

All the members held a grudge against Hoseok for him not being home. Taehyung refused to come out of his room for the next few days, skipping school and not seeing his hyungs. Hoseok felt terrible for what he did. They where all eating dinner when Taehyung came down, but he was different. His eyes were cold and had no emotion in them.

"Taehyungie!" Jungkook and Jimin said at the same time while running over to him and hugging him. Hoseok couldn't even look at him without feeling guilty.

"Taehyung how are you?" Namjoon said while looking surprised that he came down.  He didn't say anything and sat down. Namjoon opened his mouth about to say something but Taehyung spoke before he could.

"Hyungs I'm fine, can we just eat dinner?" He said with a small smile. Everyone nodded and started to eat. Hoseok picked at the food feeling too guilty to have an appetite.  He got up and put his dish in the sink , excused himself and went up to his room. The other members where surprised how quickly he got up from the table.

Later on while Hoseok was laying in his bed thinking how to confront Taehyung he heard a knock on his door.

"Come in." He said quietly while still laying on his bed staring at the ceiling. To his surprise Taehyung came in. He quickly sat up and faced him.

"Hi hyung, I just want you to know that.... I hate you, if you were here I would've never have left the house." He yelled with scolding eyes. Hoseoks heart literally stopped and he could feel the tears build up in his eyes. He shook his head quickly.

"No, no I'm sorry Tae, please." Was all he could say before Taehyung left his room not even looking back.

"Taehyung? Tae!" Hoseok quickly snapped out of his daydream to see Taehyung sitting next to him looking confused.

"Im sorry Tae what?" Hoseok said realizing he was it was just a nightmare.

"I just want you to know that its not your fault. Im the one who, after looking for you instead of going home I went somewhere I shouldn't, please don't blame yourself." Hoseok was happy for Taehyung saying that but he still felt guilty. He knew it was his fault. He just smiled to him and nodded his head.

"I know the other hyungs got mad at you but just know I don't blame you." Taehyung said with a small smile.

But you should. Hoseok thought to himself.

"Ok." Was all Hoseok could say with a small nod. Taehyung showed his box smile and they hugged. Taehyung left his room and immediately after Hoseoks smile vanished and he laid back down starring at the ceiling.
