My Room is My Best Friend

"Come on!" Lilly called knocking on my door.

"No I'm not coming out!" I screamed while sobbing.

"You can't stay in your room forever!" She yelled.

"Yes I can you just need to slide food under the door " I said still sobbing.

I have been locked in my room sobbing since I pushed Ryan out the door.

I can't believe he is gone. Why couldn't I have just married him. But if he wasn't willing to wait then maybe he wasn't the one for me. But I really, really did love him. Oh I wish he was here so I could put my head on his chest and listen to his heart beat. Ugh! I miss him so much! I started sobbing again.

"Hey, hey ,hey what's wrong?" Lilly said as she came in. She must have found the key, She sat next to me and I leaned into her.

"I can't stand not seeing Ryan... I miss him do much." I said crying into her shoulder.

"I didn't hear the whole story... why did you shove him out the door?"

"Because I thought it was to early. Then I said if he wanted to marry me he would be willing to wait. Then he said that he didn't know. So I said that if he didn't know then apparently I shouldn't marry him and then I shoved him out the door." I explained.

"Why did you think it was to early?" she asked

"Because it has only been almost a year and we just graduated high school."

"I know, I know it is kinda scary at first but you just have to power through it." she reassured me.

"Maybe he just wasn't the one" I said.

"Yeah there will be another guy. I promise, ok?"

"Ok" I nodded into her shoulder.

"How about we go get some ice cream, some tissues, and watch a chick flick?"

"That sounds like a good idea." I said slowly getting up.

We went downstairs and found the ice cream. I had rocky road and Lilly had plain chocolate (lame). We grabbed a box of tissues, blankets, and pillows. We snuggled up next to each other on the couch and started the chick flick. I forget what the movie is called. We ate ice cream and cried, but it made me feel better.
