Luna's POV

"Mulan, are you ok?" I ask as I enter her tent. She was sitting on her bed roll and I sit down beside her.

"Shang and I have never fought before" she states.

"I'm sure he'll calm down, besides you're engaged remember" I assure her.

"But you and Typhoon never fight" she says looking at me.

"We have the occasional small fight, but not a big one like yours" I tell her. "What to know a secret?" I ask her. She nods her head. "The real reason Typhoon and I went into town was to find out if I was pregnant or not" I explain.

"And are you?" she asks smiling in excitement.

"You're going to be an aunt in about eight months" I say smiling and she hugs me. "Would you be the godmother?" I ask.

"I'd be honoured" she says. "Do you think it's a boy or a girl? It could be twins" she states.

"Don't jinx me" I say pushing her gently. "I think a boy, but we won't know for sure until he or she is born" I tell her. "Now don't worry about Shang, Typhoon is speaking to him right now. I'm sure he'll of cooled off by tomorrow. But now, it's time for a sisters night" I state.

We prepare a second bed roll next to hers and laid down. "Thank you, your the best little sister I could ever ask for. Good night" Mulan says and I say the same back before falling asleep.

Typhoon's POV

"Hey, man you ok?" I ask as I enter his tent.

"No, I'm not" he states. "Mulan neglected her guard duty and she's making the princesses think of going back on their sacred vows. I don't know what to do" he explains.

"Calm down for one, then talk to Mulan" I say placing a hand on his shoulder. "The foundation to any relationship is communication and trust. I'm sure Mulan did not mean to make the princesses question themselves. You know she always speaks her mind, not thinking about the consequences. She also loves you dearly" I remind him.

"I know, but I can't forgive her yet" he tells me and I sigh.

"I know something that'll make you smile" I tell him smirking.

"Oh, and what's that?" he asks with a raised eyebrow.

"You're going to be an uncle in eight months" I state.

"You serious?" he asks and I nod my head. "Wow, congrats man" he says slapping me on the back. "We're about to go through bandit country" he says quietly.

"Don't worry, Luna won't leave my side and will be taking it easy" I assure him.

"Do you want a boy or girl?" he asks me changing the subject.

"I'm fine with either, but Luna wants one of each before we stop" I tell him.

"Maybe you'll havefraternal twins, it runs in both families" he states.

"Maybe, but we won't know for sure until later on in the pregnancy or until they are born" I remind him.

"You should go check on her, I'll take your watch when Ling's turn ends" he tells.

"Ok, just think about what I said about Mulan. Communication is key to any relationship and you two haven't talked much since this journey began" I state. He nods his head and gives me a man hug before I leave. I head over to Mulan's tent to see Luna asleep on a spare bed roll.

"She wanted to have a sisters night" Mulan whispers.

"That's ok, I'll be back in the morning" I assure her. Then kiss Luna's forehead and rub her stomach gently. "Good night Mulan" I say before leaving back to mine and Luna's tent. I full into an uneasy sleep without Luna beside me.
