Chapter 17: Cosmos and Kisses

Keith POV:

The nurse told me I had to stay here for three days. Lance stayed over the first night then had to go home in the morning to go see his family. After that he came back to stay with me for the rest of my time here. This is my third day in the hospital which means it is also the day I will be let out and able to go back home. Hunk, Bella, Matt, Narti and Pidge had came to b
Visit once and it was nice to see them. They acted as if the cuts on my wrists weren't there and just made me laugh... Though I could see the sadness in there eyes and the worried expressions on there faces. And there gentle movements when it came to me. One of my nurses was a girl named Allura who turned out to be one of Shiro's old friends from highschool.

When I was aloud to leave Shiro brought me home and told me Lance and him had a surprise for me. When I opened the dour. There stood Lance with a beautiful Husky! Its coat was a white with some silver and eyes a crystal blue.
"This is your dog!" Lance smiled at me.
"My dog!" I was so happy I didn't even know what to do!
"So what do you want to name him?" Shiro asked me.
"Cosmos!" I smiled, I held out my hand and let Cosmos come to me. "How old is he?" I asked as I pet him, he only looked about a few months.
"Five months." Shiro smiled. "We're glad you like him when Lance found him he sent me a picture and we both imidiatly new he was meant to be yours."
"I love him!" I laughed as Cosmos licked my face, Lance crawled over to the dog and pet him. Man I love this dog already, I loved Lance with my ever living being, and I loved Shiro who was the best brother anyone could ever have.
Lance took me to my room and Cosmos fallowed. When we got there my room looked even more clean then usual but I ignored that.
Lance jumped on my bed and lied down on it then I sat next to him. I had missed my comfy homey bed. The hospital one was stiff and cold. It gave me chills and the feeling of death and sadness.
Lance wrapped his arms around my waist and smiled up at me so I lied down next to him and smiled back.
Lance kissed my forehead and I smiled. He was warm and I was a little tired from the advents of the past three days.
The doctor had said I had lost a lot of blood and though they had done a lot of work and fixed me up apparently I would still be tired for a day or so.
I could feel Lances fingers raking through hair and he smelled good. Like the rain and ice. Two of my favorite smells, especially since they were Lances smells.
Cosmos jumped up on our bed and curled up at our feet. I could tell he was going to be one of those big dogs who thinks he's a small dog already, but I didn't mind I actually though that that was kinda of cute.
"Are you going to teach him tricks?" Lance asked curiously.
"Ya."
"Like what?"
"I don't know but I wish I could teach him how to make you shut up." I laughed.
"I am hurt!" Lance gasped putting a hand to his heart and acting like he was in pain then started dieing laughing. He rolled over on top of me and started kissing every little bit of my face except my mouth.
"Lance get of me you over sized lion!" I yelled but I couldn't help letting out a laugh.
"Did you just call me an over sized lion?" Lance stopped and looked at me raising an eyebrow.
"Yes." I answered.
"That's it I'm out," He stood up walking to my dour " That's gone to far, I am eternally damaged in the heart!"
"No don't leave me Shiro is boring!" I yelled.
"I heard that!" Shiro yelled from the other room and Lance and I burst out into fits of laughter. Cosmos lifted his and looked at us like we had a hundred heads then went back to sleep.
"Ok ok I'll stay." Lance sat back down next to me, and I layed my head in his lap. He played with my hair and I felt myself falling asleep. I didn't want to of course, but my eyelids got heavy as the slowly fell over my dark purple eyes and found myself no longer awake but instead fast asleep on the lap of the boy I love.
