Izuku's POV
I'd just gotten my provisional license and UA decided that we should all be sent out again to work with some hero agencies and get some real combat experience. We all really couldn't fingers out why as we've probably been attacked by villains more times this past year and a half than Kachaan says 'Die you bastard' in a week. But we all agreed and for this week, we'll have no classes, just work with pro heroes.

I walked into class waiting for the briefing on how this week would be going. Mr. Aizawa and All Might stood before us, explaining what our licenses allowed us to do and what our goals for this week should entail. Once they were finished with that, they dismissed the class for the day and left us to get ready. Ochako walked up to my desk and gave me her usual grin.

"Hey Deku, how are things going? What hero agency are you with for this week?"

"Oh...hey Ochako. I, umm, I got thi-I got this one." I just showed her the card in my hand and she took it, examining the text.

"Hmm...oh yeah...doesn't Lady Mt. work at this agency?" She asked.

"Yeah I think so. And I think that Kamui Woods works at the same agency as she does."

"Oh cool. Well I'm back with Gunhead. He said he really enjoyed working with me last time and wants to again." She flashed a smile at me that instantly made my heart melt.

"Hey babe, seems like we got the same agency. Well after I convinced Mr. Aizawa of course." I watched as an arm snaked around her waist and pulled her toward a body. She turned toward him and began giggling uncontrollably.

"Come on, don't hold me like this in public. I told you already, let's just stick to holding..." He cut her off with a kiss and I just sat there like a fool, not knowing what to do. They parted a few seconds later. She glanced across at me.

"Don't give me that look Deku. I gave you your chance. I dropped like a million hints. You weren't paying attention. And I'm sure Bakugou' gonna be better that how you'd have been anyway." She then turned back to him. My heart was just shattered at that moment.

Yep. You're a complete and total loser. The one girl who has ever shown any kind of interest in you just dumped your sorry backside.

"Ugh...you're impossible you know that?" She stated with a smirk as she tapped his nose with her index finger.

"Yeah...but you love me anyway so, too bad."

"Ugh...I'll deal with you later. Oh, we're still on for our date tonight, right Katsuki?"

"Of course. How could I skip our six month anniversary date?" Kachaan turned to me.

"What you staring at yuh damn nerd? Can't a guy kiss his girlfriend in peace anymore? Not my fault you missed your chance like the freaking loser you are." With that they left the class, leaving me there buried in my sorrow, regret and complete and total devastation. I eventually pried myself off of my seat about 15 minutes later and trudged out the classroom. I immediately headed home to prep my stuff for my week ahead.

On my way all I could think about was Ochako and Kachaan kissing. It got me so...so mad.

You had your chance all those months ago, but you blew it because you didn't have the balls to tell her how you feel. Now she's with Kachaan and their so happy...no way you have a chance with her now. Like she would have liked a nerd like you anyway.

I sulked on my walk to the train station and on my ride to my stop. But once I was about 5 blocks from home, a loud explosion went off behind me. I turned to see a huge plume of black smoke bellowing into the sky. The familiar quirk flowed through my body as green lightning crackled around me. I bent my knees and shot off the ground toward the smoke. A minute later I landed in a chaotic mess.

People were running about frantically, cars were flying all over the place and in the center of it all were three villains, one having laser vision, the other was hurling rocks and the final one was eating metal and spitting it out as projectiles. I looked to see all of their attacks converging on one point. A small wooden disk. But on closer examination I realized that behind the makeshift shield was the pro hero Kamui Woods! He was pinned down against the wall of a building and from what I could see, he couldn't move. I checked to see if there were any heroes around but I couldn't find any. So without hesitation, I ran straight at the villains.

"Hey, leave him alone!!!" I screamed as I ran in.

Really? Leave him alone? These are villains for Pete sake. You really think they're gonna stop attacking just because you yell at them that you want them to?

Shut up okay...I didn't know what else to say...leave me alone.

You should have just stayed quiet and sneak attacked them. You would have had a better chance.

Then next time tell me that before hand so I don't make a stupid mistake like this then.

Okay I will.

"Detroit Smash!" My fist collided full force with the guy who was eating metal and he flew straight through a building. The one who hurled rocks turned to me with a fury in his eyes and began chucking pieces of the street at me but I easily smashed through them and quickly sent him flying as well. The laser vision guy stopped burning away at the pro hero and faced me and immediately began shooting lasers at me. I dodged the first couple but he managed to hit me in my arm and straight in my chest. After the initial pain, I charged straight into him and punched him in the face, knocking him out.

Once I was sure the villains were out and taken care of, I made my way to Kamui. He tried to get up but faltered in his footing and was about to collide with the ground in a couple seconds. I rushed to his side and caught him.

"I've got you Kamui Woods. Don't worry." I look about his body and saw burn marks, piercings and cracks all over him. I looked at his face and I almost dropped him out of pure shock. Or should I say I almost dropped HER.

"Wait...you're a girl?" I looked at the long auburn hair and the aquamarine blur eyes that laid beyond the wooden mask. The feminine features present were unmistakable. A pain shot through my body as my adrenaline began to wear off. I felt body grow weak as I crashed to the ground, blacking out.
