Kazuchi's POV
I woke up the next morning and did my regular morning routine. Brushed my teeth, took a bath, ate breakfast then headed out to work. Before I opened the door, I pulled on my blue overshirt and it tightened to fit my form. I then closed my eyes and concentrated. My wooden shell began to grow around me and soon enough I was Kamui Woods we all know and love. I leapt out the door and headed to the agency. Upon arrival, a job was basically shoved in my face.

"Woods. Head downtown. There's a skirmish with a couple small time crooks, shouldn't even too hard." I accepted the task and was about to head out the door when I was stopped by Mt. Lady. And of course she began her usual flirtatious antics again.

"Hey there Kamui, when you get off this assignment, want to go grab a bit to eat?" I mentally facepalmed. One I was a girl, but she didn't know, and two, even if I was a guy, I wouldn't be interested in a girl like her. She's too push and gets up in your space WAY too much. I simply pushed past her.

"Sorry Mt. Lady, I already have something to do later today." Usually that would be a bluff and I'd just go home and stay by myself and remember I'm a girl, and no I'm not a lesbian (not that I have anything against lesbians 😅). But this is one of the few if not only times I actually have somewhere to be. She frowned at me and then went on about how I'm always blowing her off and I never have time to hang out and socialize or something, I wasn't really paying attention. I actually wasn't even really paying attention to my assignment ahead. My mind was kind of fixated on a certain green haired boy. And no, I wasn't daydreaming about him (this time), he was running straight towards me!

"Hey. Nic to meet you Kamui Woods, Mt. Lady." He said as he got close to me. I guess he was trying to maintain what I told him. Once he was right in front of me, he stretched out his hand and I shook it. He then did the same to Mt. Lady. After that he quickly rushed into the agency building and when straight to the boss' office. I was about to leave when I heard him running back out. He stopped before me and placed his hands on his knees, inhaling deeply.

"Hey, wait up Mr. Woods! I've been assigned to go on an assignment with you." I looked at him skeptically.

Did he plan this or was it all coincidence? If he did...nah he didn't. Why would he? Either way, this is really awkward.

I shook the thought and returned to reality.

"Ready to go kid?" I asked, putting on my husky tone. He nodded and we were off, leaping from building to building heading downtown. In a matter of minutes we arrived at the site and were quite surprised, but of course, not the good kind. Before us stood a monstrous 3 story tentacle looking thing and it was just slashing randomly.

"Okay, quirks are just getting weirder and weirder everyday." Midoriya mumbled beside me.

"So what are we gonna do? Got any plans?"

Geez. Did this kid just put me on the spot. I'm not usually one to come up with a quick strategy.

"Nothing's coming up at the moment but if you have an idea, spill." He put his hand to is chin and began mumbling a lot. I don't know why, but I found it kinda adorable.

Just that instant a tentacle came right at us and I tackled Midoriya to the ground, barely getting us out of the way. I looked down at him and saw his beautiful green eyes. They're just so mesmerizing and hypnotic and...

"Kamui...I think you can't get off of me now." He said staring up at me. I was just glad I was wearing a mask so he couldn't see my face although was sure the heat from my cheeks would cause the wood to combust.
