Chapter One

Shauna's POV:

"Shauna can you come down stairs for a minute please," my mother called me.

"Yeah be down in a minute" as I walked down the stairs I kept thinking over things that I might get in trouble for, but then I thought wait I'm a good girl I don't do anything wrong, so I calmed my self down and walked into the kitchen.

"Shauna sit down for a minute" my mother Louise said.

"Okay what's wrong?"

"I have something very important to tell you and I don't how you are going to take it"

"You know you can tell me anything mam"

"Shauna before you were born, before even myself and your dad got together he went out with a girl, and they had a child together, a baby boy.

"Wait, what!?!?"

"Shauna you have a half brother called Tom Parker, he's from Bolton in England"

"What's going to happen now?"

"Well he's 24, and is in America working at the moment, so you can email each other until he gets back to the UK"

"OMG I can't believe I have a brother! I always wanted this! But did daddy know before he died that he had a son?"

"Unfortunately not darling, we found out after he died, but I decided to tell you now because you just turned 17 and I thought you had a right to know, are you mad?"

"Of course I'm not mad! I just found out I have a brother how can I be mad at you? That's something I've always wanted!"

"I'm really happy for you baby, now you have another piece of your daddy"

Thanks for telling me mam, can I have Tom's email address so I can start emailing him now?"

"Yes of course here you go honey" as soon as my mother handed me the piece of paper with Tom's email address on it I raced up the stairs, I couldn't wait to email my brother.
