Chapter Two

I sat down on my bed and opened up my laptop. Okay I thought to myself time to email your new brother. But what will I say?

Hi Tom,

This is Shauna, I just found out we have the same dad, I hope we can get to know each other. Maybe when your back from America we can meet up?

I don't really know what to say to you, all I know is that I have a big brother and I hope you know that you have a sister.

I pressed the send button, and said a silent prayer to myself that tom actually knows about me and doesn't think that I'm a total weirdo.

I knew what I have to do next Skype my two best friends Chloe and Rose.

I logged on to Skype and pressed the call button, and hoped that they picked up. After about 4 rings they answered.

"Hi shaw" they said together.

"Hi girlies, I have something really big to tell you"

"Are you pregnant" Chloe asked

"No I'm not, what are you talking about Chloe I'm a total nun!!" I was laughing so hard that I nearly fell off the bed. Only Chloe would think of something like that.

"So seriously what's wrong Shauna?" Rose asked.

"Well the thing is I just found out I have a half brother, called Tom Parker he lives in the UK and was born before my mam and dad got together"

"Wait are you serious?" Said Chloe.

"Of course I'm fucking serious Chloe, why would I tell you something like that if it wasn't true?"

"Well we all know that you love your practical jokes" replied Rose.

"No girls I'm serious, pinky promise" as a held up my pink finger.

"Okay she is serious she just pinky promised, that means alot in this friendship!" Said Chloe.

"So tell us more" Rose sat eagerly up on her bed on the other side of the Skype call.

"I don't really know much, he's in America at the moment working and is just emailed him before I called you guys"

"Wait did you say his name is Tom Parker and he is currently in the US" said Chloe.

"Yeah why?"

"Shauna it could be Thomas Parker from The Wanted!!!"

"I really doubt it Chloe and besides that would be weird because I'm actually a fan"

"Oh I suppose so" said Chloe disappointedly.

"But if it is I will let you know okay?"as I winked at the camera.

"Yay! Good girl but I have to go now" said Chloe.

"I have to go too, sorry Shauna, I have a football match"

"Okay bye girlies, I will talk to you later"

"Bye" they shouted back to me as I hung up.

I closed my laptop and just lay there and thought what if Chloe was right about my brother...
