Chapter 1

Stefan's POV

Damon started banging on the door. He couldn't get in because Elena never invited him in. We then heard him leave. We went downstairs locked the door and went to check on Jeremy. He was sketching something. I then went to get Elena.

"Elena?" I ask.

"Yeah?" Elena asks.

"Where are you at?" I ask.

"The kitchen," Elena says.

"Okay," I say.

I go to the kitchen and she was cooking supper. Since she is the only one that cooks in the family. Her aunt came home. She came in and then invited Damon in. What did she do?

"Elena?" I ask.

"Yeah," Elena says.

"Jenna just invited Damon in," I say.

"Okay, let's go," Elena says.

Elena wrote a note for Jenna and then we were off.

"Where are we going to go?" Elena asks.

"I don't know," I say.

"How about Australia," Elena says.

"Okay," I say.

Elena and I went to the airport and was about to get on the plane to Australia. When we got on the plane we were off. We made it to Australia. We then got to our new house. We got a call from the police station from Mystic Falls.

"Elena Gilbert?" Mark asks.

"Yeah?" Elena asks.

"I am so sorry. But your Aunt Jenna and brother Jeremy are both dead," Mark says.

Elena hung up the phone and slid to the floor.

"Elena? Are you okay?" I ask.

"No," Elena says.

She cries into my shoulder for a long time. She then fell asleep. I carried her to the bed. I went to the other room and slept in there. I woke up and made breakfast. Elena came out and sat down and ate.

"Do you want to go out?" I ask.

"Sure," Elena says.

Later that night. 

We went to the best restaurant in the city (Sydney). I was about to propose. Elena excused herself to go to the bathroom. She came out and sat down. I got down on one knee.

"Will you marry me?" I ask.

"Yes," Elena says.

I put the ring on her finger and then we hugged. We headed home. We got home and then we say him. It was Damon. I forgot that this was his house too.

"Elena. I want you," Damon says.

"No," Elena says.

Elena moves behind me.

"You can't have her. She is mine. She just said yes to me," I say.

Damon walks out. And he is all bent out of shape.

"I have to tell you something," I say.

"Okay," Elena says.

"When we are on our honeymoon. I will change you so that way we don't have to live without each other," I say.

"Okay," Elena says.

The next day.

I woke up and Elena was in the kitchen and was cooking breakfast. We ate and then we went to go say goodbye to Aunt Jenna and Jeremy. 

When we got there we brought some flowers for them and then we headed home. Elena got inside and collapsed. I ran to her. She was unconscious. She was still breathing. Maybe she was injured in the car accident. I took her to the hospital. I was sitting in the waiting room. Emma then came out.

"So we are taking her up to surgery," Emma says.

"Okay," I say. 

I was thinking then someone asked me a question.

"Why are you in here?" Ava asks.

"My fiance is in here," I say.

"Oh, okay," Ava says.

I went back to thinking and then Emma came out.

"She is in recovery. Also, she is asking for you," Emma says.

"Okay," I say.

I got to her room. I walked over to her. I sat down next to her on the chair next to her bed. I held her hand. She was happy to see me.

"Stefan?" Elena asks.

"Yeah. I am right here," I say.

"Okay," Elena says.

I sat there. I then had to head home. I was going to meet Bonnie. She was going to help me with controlling my drinking of human blood. I kissed Elena on the forehead and walked out. I was on my way home. I got home and Bonnie was there.

"I am so sorry," I say.

"Where were you?" Bonnie asks.

"I was with Elena I had to take her to the hospital," I say.

"Oh, okay," Bonnie says.

We went inside. We practiced and then she had to go. She had a date. She was really happy with him. She was with Taylor Lockwood. She said she would be back soon. 2 hours later she came back. 

"Guess what?" Bonnie asks.

"What?" I ask.

"Taylor just asked me to marry him," Bonnie says.

"That is great," I say, "Elena and I are getting married as well."

"Really?" Bonnie asks.

"Yeah," I say.

I then got a call. I answered it.
