Chapter 5

Elena's POV

I woke and then I drank some blood from a blood bank. Stefan then came in. He had a human with him. He was teaching me how to keep it under control. I did as he instructed and it worked. I then did everything to make me feel warm and not cold. Then we headed home. We got home and I was sitting in the living room. Then Stefan came in and gave me some kind of animal. I loved it. I like animal blood better than human blood. We stayed in the living room. I then heard someone knocking on the door. I walked to the door. I opened the door. I opened it. It was Caroline.

"Hey, Caroline," I say.

"Hey," Caroline says.

I mutter Stefan to myself he then showed up.

"Hey, Caroline," Stefan says.

"Can you give us a moment?" I ask.

"Yeah," Caroline says.

"Can we invite her in?" I ask.

"No," Stefan says.

"Why not?" I ask.

"Because she wants me and I want you," Stefan says.

"Okay," I say.

We walked back to the living room. Caroline then tried to come in.

"Hey, let me in," Caroline says.

Stefan and I went up and shut the door and locked it. We then went upstairs. We were sitting up there talking. We were talking about how we were going to live and not to kill any humans. I would have to prevent him from drinking human blood. I then went downstairs and cleaned up the basement. We were planning on fixing up the basement and add some dungeons for when Stefan goes off the rails or for when we need to weaken someone to kill them. We will also have some vervain in each dungeon in front of all of the windows. I was cleaning when Stefan came down. He was planning on helping me he just needed to shower. We were going through boxes. It was his house so that the boxes in the basement were from his family. I was going through half and he went through the other half. We even found spots in the house for the things that we found. If it didn't go anywhere then it was put in a box and would be moved back down there when the construction was done. Then we heard a bang. What was that bang?
