Chapter 4 - marry me

I open my eyes to brad who is still sleeping, I feel a sharp pain in my chest, I'm still turning and my body is in agony from it.
"Owww" I moan out causing brad to open his eyes, he grabs my body and pulls me close to his chest. I felt safe in his arms, I leaned my head into his chest and my body soon relaxed once again.
"Is that better?" He asked, I nodded and smiled up at him. I couldn't help but look at his beautiful brown eyes, I loved that he was finally starting to become calmer around me.
I knew it would take us a while to learn to love each other but I knew that if he acted like this once we are married I could soon learn to love him more than anything but it was a matter of time.
"Lindsey?" Brad says making me lift my head.
"Yes" I respond.
"I realised I never really proposed to you, I just told you I was going to be your husband" he says rubbing my cheek, he was sending butterflies off in my stomach.
"Look on your finger" he says, I smile and look down to see a gorgeous ring.

I immediately rise my body up and hug Bradley.
"Thank you so much Bradley" I say, holding Bradley tight, he hugs me back, I feel a slight tingle in my stomach.
"Are you happy?" He teases me, I smile and give him a peck on the lips, I nod making him smile.
"We have to plan the wedding today, my mother and father want to know every detail so they know what we want" he explains, I sit on his lap.
"What do they want to know?" I say with a confused tone. I was starting to feel excited at the thought of having a special day that I didn't think I'd have until I was older.
"They want to know the dress and suit were are wearing, what you want your hair to look like, makeup, food and drink, decorations, basically everything" he replies, I really want this day to be special for the two of us because I will be married to him and I will eventually be the mother to his children, it has to be perfect.
"By the way I think I should explain how the ceremony works, it's very different to a human wedding" he says making my smile fade.
"How different?" I ask hoping it's not too different.
"Well basically you'll walk down the isle like a normal wedding, then i will have to cut your hand slightly with a knife and you'll do the same thing to me and the blood will drip into a cup which we both have to drink from, then I can kiss you and that's us married" he explained, I felt uncomfortable with the whole cutting my hand thing.
"Will it heal" I felt sick just thinking of it, I couldn't think about any longer, I would have been sick right there.
"Yes, by the wedding day you'll have fully turned so it will heal almost instantly, it will hurt for a split second then it will fade" he told me reassuring me, he started filling me with more confidence.
He started rising from the bed, he walked to his walk in closet and started getting changed, he entered the bedroom again and signalled me to go and get changed now.
"Wear this" He said handing me a dress, I walked into the closet and started to remove the lingerie he had given me last night. I loved the dress, it was black and showed of my body figure. I walked out of the closet and brad instantly drew his eyes to me, he walked up to me and turned me around. He started to zip my dress up slowly.
"Thank you" I turn around and my eyes stare into his, we are about to connect our lips when the door opens and we quickly separate.
"Sir they're ready for yourself and your fiancé" the man says, Bradley nods and the man soon leaves.
"Come on Lindsey" he says, he starts walking out the room and I follow close behind him, I see other vampires looking at me, they must know that Bradley had turned me into one of them, I quickly grab Bradley's hand out of fear.
