Chapter 19 - feast of feasts

"Lindsey come on, everyone's waiting," brad yells.
"I'm coming," I shout back, it's a very important night as it is feast of feasts which is a celebration in which vampires all gather together to enjoy 2 nights of dancing, singing, feeding. It's also important because it always happens on a blood moon when vampires are at their peek of power, not to mention it's where Bradley and I will announce I'm pregnant!
My dress was a beautiful shade of navy blue which also covered my growing bump.

It was simple but I loved that about the dress, I wasn't a fancy person so it fit my personality perfectly.
"Look at you," Bradley's eyes lighting up slightly, I roll my eyes at him and giggle.
"You ready?," he nods gesturing me to the door. We both walk to the entrance of the castle hand in hand, he guides me to the carriage sitting down close to me. I lean my head against his shoulder. He kisses my forehead lightly but our attention is quickly turned to Xander who is giggling and is very hyper. I pick him up and cradle him in my arms.
"Mama how long will we be," he asks with a cute smile. I turn to Bradley who mouths 'quite a long time.
"Daddy says it'll be a while but we're staying there tonight so you can go to bed when you're sleepy," I explain making Xander smile.
"What was that," Xander asks looking at my stomach.
"Nothing son," Bradley says looking over at me wanting me to agree. I nod in response helping the situation. I know it was bad I hadn't told Xander yet but I wanted the family to know at the same time and Xander might have said something. We arrived at the castle where feast of feasts was being held and it was stunning.

Everyone was having a lovely time but Bradley pulled me to the side.
"I have to make a speech in a few hours, we can do it then," he whispers, I nod getting slightly nervous. We both descended down the steps to be greeted with many relatives and friends.

hours pass

I was talking to Bradley's cousin Stephen who was asking how I was and how we were getting on. I hadn't seen him since the wedding and I missed his funny sense of humour.
"So have you two been busy," he asks, making me choke slightly on my drink.
"Depends what you mean by busy my friend," we both laugh, he was a kind soul, wouldn't heart a fly. I'm glad him and Bradley are close, he's probably the only one Bradley really cares about.
"Lindsey can you come with me for a minute," I hear a voice form behind me. I turn to face Bradley who looked slightly tipsy but was still able to talk properly. I saw Stephen give Bradley a wink and walked off waving to me. Bradley let me upstairs to what I believe was our room. He dragged me in the room and locked the door.
"What are we doing here," I ask. Bradley pushes bends me over the desk that sits in the far end of the room. Unzipping my dress and letting it fall to the floor, I hear him unbuckling his pants and start moaning. "Sire it's time," we both make our way to the front, Bradley's hand shaking slightly. I grip it tight and stay close to him to calm him down. It's finally happening we are about to tel everyone I'm having a baby girl......
