After we landed on this planet we started exploring. When we were walking in the forest we saw insects and small animals so this planet is most definitely habitable. Even though this planet is habitable me and my crew definitely didn't want to stay there long term. When we were thinking of leaving and had enough evidence to prove were we were. But when we checked the gas we were basically empty and dropping fast. When we went down to the tanks there was a gash and there was gas all over the place.
Now we have to find a new way to get gas and get out of here and back to our own universe. We have a machine on board that can transfer water into gas but the problem is we don't have buckets or anything to carry the water with. to have enough fuel to get out of here. well need close to 200 gallons of water. and it would be hard to do that with only our mouths. we start with our mouths just to see of theres a chance we could, but after an hour we gave up. getting this water will be tough.
Another thing is our ship can use meat to get even more fuel and if there are insects they have to eat, and then something eats them, and then them, so there has to be something out there that would have a lot of meat. we make weapons from some scrap metal and sticks, also of course we have knives in our safety kit and in our suits. then we set up cameras and waited till a big animal passes.
One night when we were sleeping I heard a beep from the motion sensor on the camera I woke up my crew got the weapons and went out to find a huge bear/lion looking creature that I knew we couldn't kill. Even if we didn't kill him he wouldn't be able to get in the ship anyway so why not try, I thrust my spear as hard as I could and hit him in the upper right shoulder. He roared in agony as the other threw there's too. All with incredible aim. Surprisingly the beast fell with a thud and it seemed like it stopped breathing.....looks like we might make it out of here after all.
We waited till morning to pick up the beast, just in case another predator would stumble on us and was hungry.we took the animal and picked it up and dropped it onto a table. There we started to skin and gut the thing. Slowly but skillfully salvaging as much meat as possible. When we put the meat into the transferer it sucked it in and only counted it as an 1/10 of what we needed, looks like that's not the only animal we'll have to kill, unless we find a huge tube that can suck water in with massive amounts of power and speed and a close stream or lake.
The next day we went searching around for tools water and sources of food. When we were searching I stumbled across a small stream which had to lead to something bigger. So I radioed everyone in and we went. It felt like mile after mile when we finnally came to a good sized lake. Which looked highly populated with fish! We got as much water as possible then went back, even though we knew it was definetly not enough.
Pls comment below more ideas of things that could happen having a hard time thinking? Thx :)
Either I'll write one of your ideas or my own but it will probably be a few days! Pls share story
