The Runaway Dragon Queen

Chapter 1- My journey

Roguya Pov

"Come on Raina! The guards catching up!" I scream to my sister as we run through the green grass barefoot and only in our white nightgowns.

"I'm running as fast as I can! Besides are you sure this spell will work?" Raina asks me, as I run into the ruins of a crumbling human town.

"Yeah, I'm sure. We just have to reach the highest peak in the kingdom and we should be good to go!" I respond.

Raina and I let our wings loose and we fly up to the top of the astrology tower and see the starry sky above us. I hold the paper spell into the air and scream for the human world to let us in. An arrow flies by me and Raina nearly falls down. Suddenly, the paper bursts into a portal and we dive in, escaping the royal guards and our family. The portal shuts and the pocket of space we're in becomes black. My sister and I separate and I feel my body free fall with a glowing light surrounding my body. I crash through some building and I'm out.

Rogo Pov

"How could you imbeciles let them escape?!" I yell out, angry that my two daughters ran away to some foreign land.

"Honey, please. Roguya has always been fascinated by humans. It's only natural she goes out and searches for them. Besides she'll be fine, she's the next heir of the Dragonian throne," My wife Maryanne pleads, trying to calm me down.

"If I may be of assistance, there is a way to enter the human world again. There are still some natural openings to the human world, we just have to find them. Our worlds were torn apart from each other but not entirely," The Great White Elder Elba explains, pulling out a map.

"Agreed. We'll send a small army to bring Roguya and Raina back. Get Akumo and the rest of our allies sons assembled so we can have a meeting our plan," I respond, kissing my wife on the cheek.

I walk down the hallway till I get to Roguya's tower door. I walk up the steps feeling the warm stone and looking out the window. I open Roguya's door and find everything in place but her. I go to her bookshelf and pull out one of her favorite fairytales, The Little Mermaid, and open it.

I don't blame you. Humans are interesting creatures indeed. We live in a continent called Fairytale Land and yet everything but humans is here. Still can't believe our worlds were once one and whole.

Elba the Edler Pov

Once upon a time, there was a war to decide who would be the first ruler of Dragonia. So, the four most powerful noble houses competed in a race, whoever put the crown on first had rights for their family to rule the country for eternity. The House of Snow, the northern power, sent their beloved daughter Raxia as a representative of their house. She raced to the top of the castle steps and beat her competition. The House of Snow became the leaders of Dragonia and have been ever since. However, Raxia felt their should be unity within Dragonia and gave the three noble houses that lost places on the royal committee.

Years passed on and eventually an heir needed to be produced so that the Dragonian line will be continued. So Raxia ventured into the human world and found a dragon so destructive, brutal, and terrifying he could match all four noble houses power combined. Raxia courted Acnologia and was impregnated with twin girls. But disaster struck and one day Acnologia disappeared, heartbroken Raxia grabbed her sword and raised it into the air casting a spell so powerful it changed the fabric of existence. Her sword swung down and the threads holding the human world and the non-human world tore with only one small little string remaining.

With most of the threads gone, the worlds were separate and places disappeared of the map and reappeared on their respective world. Houses and neighbors vanished and never returned. But humans disappearance left new opportunity for the dragons and other supernatural peole that lived in this new world. The gift of immortality was bestowed upon the non-human world and suddenly humanity's worst nightmares and creatures of the night could longer be extinguished.

Eventually, the Dragonian line continued and the current king Rogo met his true love, Maryanne Mermaidia, the 5th child of the mermaid royal family who's from the world under the sea and in the sky. They got married and had three children. Rogou, the eldest child, grew up to be a gentleman who helps around the house and makes sure his sisters aren't up to any trouble. Roguya, the second eldest, grew into a adventurous and wild young lady with a talent for fighting and finding the unknown. Raina, the youngest, grew into a young lady who's constantly looking for love and treasures to remember so that when she grows up she'll have memories to look back upon.
