I SWEAR, I WILL WARN YOU ONE LAST TIME, THESE ARE SPOILERS FOR HECC'S SAKE.

-Peter Parker-

He woke up facing the sky. It was red and blue and purple, and he would love it if he didn't just die.

Wait...

Stark was no longer here. His chest felt freezing now.

Peter lifts his arms up to his face and begin to drag them down, tracing his neck and massaging the muscles in his bare shoulders.

Bare?

He sat up and looked down at his body, which he was surprised to find completely naked.

He hugged his knees to his chest and looked around.

"Hello?" Peter called out. "Mr. Stark? Anyone?"

No one replied, much to Peter's frustration. He shivered. It was cold.

"M-Mr. Stark?" he mumbled. "Please. Somebody."

Tears were filling his eyes. Where the hell was he? He just wanted to be in his bed, he wanted his aunt, he wanted Ned and he was seriously regretting not listening to Stark and going into space anyways.

The dirt on the ground was getting unbearable to sit on, so he shifted against a tree. He knew this would happen, he just knew it.

He just died. He just died.

He just died.

Oh my god, he just died. There's no going back, because he's dead. He's dead and his family wasn't coming back, Ned wasn't coming back, and he just missed his whole career and future and he hasn't even gotten to go to college yet...

There's so much he's missing.

He let the tears fall, resting his head on his knees. No way. No way he was dead. No way!

He just kept sobbing. He didn't know what to do.

He just died.

The tears kept coming, and he kept crying, and his back started to hurt, and when was it ever going to end?

Soon, a rustling made him look up.

His eyes were blurry and he couldn't see, so he rubbed them for a moment. The bushes were moving, the leaves hitting each other.

Great. He was going to die again. He didn't want this to happen. He hated it the first time he died, he didn't want to die again.

"Hey, woah!" A loud and familiar voice rang. "Kid? Spiderman? Sorry, that sounds stupid. What's your name again?"

Peter hugged his legs closer to himself. His sobbing just got louder.

"Oh. Okay, uh... do you want me to take you back to where I'm staying? There's a fire," Quill swallows quickly. Goddamnit, he's bad with tears. Why tears? "It'll be warm. You look like you're freezing."

Peter shook and stood a little, but he remembered he was naked and didn't stand all the way. "I'm naked."

"Yeah, uh, same," Quill shrugged. "I mean, I won't stare at you... or anything... as long as you don't stare, 'cause... I'm not gay, haha. My girlfriend... or you could call my girlfriend, I guess, but... Thanos killed her."

Peter stood all the way, leaning onto Quill. Quill smiled. At least there weren't tears anymore.

"So, where'd you die?" Quill asked Peter. "I died out with, uh, Drax."

"With-with Stark." Peter mumbled. "I didn't want to die. I didn't want it. Now there's no going back, I'm already dead."

"Woah, hey," Quill said. "We're here, right? That's something. We can't be dead if we're here."

"But I died," Peter snapped, and that was the end of it. "I died, right in front of my hero, and he couldn't even save me. He was so helpless and he was watching his friends die and-and I couldn't help him."

Quill wrapped his arm around Peter. "I know. It was scary. But we're gonna have a good rest, and then we're going to find the others."

"Never took you as one to take charge," Peter cracked, despite him not having a voice.

"Yeah?" Quill rocked Peter gently. "Never took you as one to be super self-conscious."

"Shut up." Peter mumbled, yet again becoming drowsy. He never thought that being dead was going to be so hard and tiring. "You know how I died with Stark?"

"Hm?"

"D'ya think he thought I was... overreacting?"

"You we're dying," Quill said softly, something like a whisper. "There's no such thing as overreacting when your whole world is ending."

"I guess."

Peter woke up with a start, and, hearing a scream, jumped up and started to hyperventilate.

"Peter? Hey, sit down, alright?" Quill put his hand out. "I'm going to go and-go and look. Just sit down, alright?"

"Who-who's screaming?" He stumbles back into the tree.

Quill paused a moment and the only thing they could hear was somebody screaming.

"I don't know."
