-Peter Quill-

When he looked out there, he kind of hoped that he wouldn't see something crazy, especially not an entire army of demon guys, some in the same position as Peter, grabbing their heads and screaming.

"Bucky?! You're gonna want to see this."

Bucky walked forward. Some of the demon guys walked forward with him.

"What...?"

"Dead. Some dead. Living." A voice in his head mumbled. "Dead. Living. Live-die, live-die, live-die—"

"Bucky?"

Bucky shook his head.

"Live-die, live-die, live-die, live-die." The chant screamed.

Peter lifted his hand. Some of the demons followed the action. A huge pressure in his head followed as soon as they froze.

'Great. Now I have a migraine while these guys are hailing Hitler.'

Bucky walked forward again.

"We have to push through them."

"Bucky, I can't..." Peter whimpered from the ground. "I can't stand."

"Yes, you can." Bucky pulled Peter up.

Peter screamed in agony, his back curving. Quill watched, trying to wet his mouth to talk, his thick saliva getting stuck in his throat.

"B-Barnes." Quill rasped. "Stop."

"We need him."

"No, we don't."

"A human can't wield a stone, Quill."

"I'm not human!" Quill shouted.

Bucky looked taken aback. "What?"

"I'm only half human. That's why I have less weird puppet demons following me. You guys are human. He's the most human, so he's..." Quill inclines his head towards Peter, who was currently reduced to a ball of sobs. "I don't know why you aren't being affected too much. But I'm half human. I'm half... actually I don't know what my other half is exactly so we're not gonna get into that, but..."

"What the hell are you waiting for?!" Bucky said through gritted teeth. "Go and grab it."

"Hold on. You need to move yours and Pete's demon puppets."

"How am I supposed to do that?!" Bucky gestured (i almost said 'with both hands') to Peter.

"Just carry him and go over there." Quill pointed to the other side.

Bucky stared down at his arm, then looked back up at Quill.

"Aw. Crap."

Quill looked back at Drax with a pleading look.

"Fine." Drax said. "Do not complain when your tiny friend breaks due to the amount of pure muscle on my body. I have the composition of a godly being. It is almost too much for the human
body to handle, especially one that is so puny—"

Quill smacks Drax. "Shut up and carry him, you big-headed a..."—Bucky gave him the motherly 'shut-your-mouth-right-now-before-I-beat-you' look—"...Butthole."

As if challenging him to a race, Bucky looked up at Drax and began to sprint.

Quill looked out at the demons, who were either floating, running, or staring straight at him. Great.

'Not intimidating at all,' Quill thought to himself. 'Not at all.'
