To all the people who were reading this book.

I'm really sorry to have gone and deleted everything, especially if you were enjoying it. But if I'm being honest here I had no idea how I was going to get to the point I was going. In short, I lost the plot. I wasn't going to keep the book up and say it's discontinued because I like tying up loose ends. I'm not a fan of not knowing how things end, or getting into a story just to find it's never going to be finished.

So I've decided to edit this story, the outcome is the same, I'm just making it better. Also I've changed my name to Stevefromcorporate because I like it much better.

Again, super sorry. Please enjoy the better version!

The waves rolled gently onto the soft white sand. The suns rays beamed down so hot; that walking on the sand felt like trotting across hot coal. However, as time passed it gradually began to cool down.

The sky had gone from a vibrant blue coloure; to dramatic reds and oranges. The once busy beach, littered with families, was now almost completely deserted. The sound of children playing and yelling, talking and music had died down.

All that could be heard, was the sound of the waves hitting the shore and the sound of the soft breeze. Ben, both enjoyed and hated this complete relaxed beach. He enjoyed the fresh air. To a city dweller, which Ben was, the air would seem, dense and humid.

But once you finally got used to it, there was nothing better. Ben had been dragged down the the beach by his parents. They claimed he was spending too much time playing games and they wanted to spend time with him.

Ben didn't object, he was quite excited for this trip. What kid didn't love running around on the beach? Ben was in bliss, he didn't let the fact that he had no siblings stop him from spending time with people.

Ben, found a young girl who looked about his age and he'd been playing with her. And when her parents had packed up their thing and she'd hopped in her car, never to be seen again. Ben would make a new friend and the cycle continued for the rest of the day.

But now, Ben waved off his last friend and found himself alone. There weren't any children left on the beach for Ben to spend his time with. This saddened Ben, he didn't want to sit and listen to his parents talk about whatever it was adults talk about.

So Ben started at the shore; he walked just close enough so that the waves would role over his feet, then draw back. He stopped, to enjoy the feeling. It felt like the waves we're trying to pull him into the ocean.

The eight year old looked out into the vast blue distance and wondered what it was like. Maybe one day he'd swim out there and find out. As the blond haired boy pondered, he noticed something in the corner of his eye.

Something of unknown origin had washed on the shore, just a short run from where he had been standing. Curious, the young boy started towards it. Finally something fun for him to do.

This did make Ben wonder why his parents hadn't packed up and taken him to the hotel like all of his friends. He hadn't gone to check in with them for a while; maybe he should turn round and assure them he was okay.

Just as Ben was about to turn back, he could see what the thing was. It was a clump of.... something. It looked like someone had thrown a bowl of grayish, pink jelly on the ground.

Ben felt a surge of excitement flood through him; as he started to sprint towards it. He couldn't believe he actually found one. He didn't have much friends but boy the kids at school would get a kick out of this.

He had found a Jellyfish! It wasn't moving so he presumed it was dead, he stared at it for a while and it laid motionless. It gave him a good idea; he would just bury the thing! He'd be doing a good deed after all.
