{11 Years Ago}
The king of Moldova paced around the palace thinking about wether if they should give up on having a wizard or have a wizard, only for them to be killed.
One of the royal guard busted in and hollered,"You're Highness! We have found the perfect family to raise our great wizard!"
The king was skeptical at first but after months of questioning, and getting to know the family; The king finally agreed to have their wizard.

{1 Year Later}
"Here, we shall pronounce Artiom Popescu as our grand wizard! Let him protect us and save us from the evil witches and demons that may appear!"

Loud booming claps and cheers were heard all around the church, making the mother and the father of Artiom blush and bowed down humbly.
Clinks of wine glasses were heard along with the bongs of beer mugs haunting the area with talking and whisperings.

The mother, Ludmila Popescu gasped in surprise as she felt salty liquid rolling down her cheeks, she gently muttered,"I can't believe it! I'm giving birth to a wizard, if not a hero!"
The father smiled gently and pat Ludmila back and solemnly said,"Darling, I promise that you will be a good mother. Nothing is going to take you away from your child, I swear!"
The woman with sap brown hair looked up with sparkles in her eyes,"Thank you, Dear, but promise me that you will never harm him!"
Daniel gave Ludmila a gentle gaze with his hazel eyes and firmly nodded.

Everything was going great until a door swung open loudly and roughly, only to reveal a silhouette of a man with chin length hair and a cape with glowing blood red eyes.
The strange man chuckled, revealing keen sharp like canines and mocked,"Well well well~ What do we have here? A soon to be mother that's carrying the 'Oh So Great Wizard'!"
His straight strawberry blonde hair bounced slightly as he walked closer to Ludmila.

But before anything could happen, two guards immediately rushed up in front of the brunette lady as protection and scowled,"What do you want, Vladmir?!"
Vladmir sighed in a mocking manner and replied,"Why it's to see the last wizard standing! If... They even make it out alive after this~"

The two guards tensed until the crimson eyed man laughed,"Oh I was kidding of course!"
Vladmir yanked the two guards away from the pregnant woman and gasped,"Oh what do we have here?"
The rest of the guards circled around the Ludmila and Vladmir.
Daniel ran up to the guards but couldn't get in at all, Daniel threatened,"Do anything to her and I will kill you!"

The blonde giggled,"I enslaved a whole entire country so dealing with you is no big deal~"
Vladmir snapped and a crystal ball suddenly appear, the blonde stared deep into it for hours but it only felt like a few minutes to the rest of the world.

His smug smirk soon turned into a frown with his eyebrows furrowing deeper and deeper as he looked into the crystal ball.
He backed away,"No! No, no, no! It can't be! It can't be, it's impossible..."
With a swift turn, he cupped his hands around the poor Ludmila's neck as if she was taken hostage, he demanded,"You are giving me, your future child."

The brunette yelped,"Not happening!"
The man's hands were about to tighten until he looked up and saw a reflection of himself on the mirror.
For a split second every part of the Romanian's body burned terribly as if he were getting each square of his body burned off.

Vladmir quickly let go, took out his wand and chanted,"Keta em tou of erhe!"
The strawberry blonde disappeared, leaving black smog surrounding the church.

Daniel immediately ran up to Ludmila, despite the whole guards protecting her, he pulled her in a tight warm protective hug and cooed soothing words into the soon to be mother.

A few months after the ceremony, Ludmila finally gives birth to Artiom Popescu.
Once Artiom is all cleaned up, Ludmila embraced the baby boy protectively and smiled.
Daniel walked up to Ludmila and handed her a mirror,"I know this is too early to give our baby this but I think he needs it right now, not when he's 12."

Ludmila remembered the ceremony and frowned,"Why does Artiom have to be targeted when he isn't even born yet?! It isn't fair!"
Daniel huffed,"But whatever happens, I promise I will keep our son safe."

{4 Years Later}
Little Artiom grew up and is currently 5 years old, he ran up to his mother, bright glossy hazel eyes sparkled as he chirped,"Mama! Mama! Teach me some new spells!"
Ludmila giggled at Artiom and sighed,"Oh honey, you know I'm not a wizard and I can only teach you the basics."

The boy's smile shrunk as he looked down,"O-Oh..."
Ludmila felt bad for him so she flashed a bright smile and ruffled his hair,"But let's play and look at the pretty garden in the King's Royal Garden~!"

Ludmila walked along with the toddler slowly until Artiom stood dead on his tracks, his sap brown pupils dilated with shock and fear.
The mother panicked,"Honey, what's wrong?!"

Artiom solemnly replied,"An unwelcomed presence is near."
The woman nervously laughed,"Oh it's probably just your imagination-"

One of the maids collapsed randomly and so did other servants butlers followed had the same thing happened to them as well.

Ludmila shook her head and picked up Artiom,"Artiom, we have to go."
The ignorant boy asked,"Why?"
The brunette woman shook her head and ran, she messily dug her hand in her pocket for the enchanted mirror and gave it to him.

She said,"My boy, take this mirror and use it wisely, do not flash it at strangers no matter what and trust no one."
But of course Ludmila collapsed, causing Artiom to fall out of her gentle arms.

Artiom shook his mother's body,"Mama? What's going on? Please wake up!"
The young boy tried many times but nothing happened, he hugged the golden mirror and looked into it, tears came out of his eyes as he gave up and embraced the only thing that remained of his mother.

Loud deafening footsteps were heard, it felt like there three people walking towards him, Artiom cried,"W-Who's there?!"

A figure of a man in a blue cape with expensive gold accessories was revealed.
His flaming red eyes glared daggers at the poor boy but softened as he fully scanned him.

The man slowly knelt down before Artiom and comforted,"It's okay, I won't hurt you... I never will."
Artiom shivered in fear as he felt arms wrapped tightly around his little figure, tears rolled down the child's rosy cheeks.
The man sighed and then laughed maniacally, his voice cracked as he said,"Come on now, Artiom~ I will keep you safe!"

The strange caped man slowly got up and snatched the enchanted mirror from Artiom's gentle grasp and said,"And this little fragile mirror of yours will be confiscated..."
