Fionna pov

I stared at her for a moment. I was kind of shocked to see her. She looked a lot like me. She was slightly different though. She had Amber colored hair, was a little taller than me and was a little tanner to. She even had dads green eyes. I hadn't seen her in ages after she left home.

"Fionna. She said then ran over and hugged me. "I've been worried sick about you."

"Cake how did you find me and how do you not have a tail right now."

"It's something you learn how to control and I searched everywhere after Dad had told me you ran away. Why you run do you know how worried I was."

"He didn't tell you."

"No he just told me you ran away. Why did you I mean I didn't like living with him either but still."

"He was going to force me to marry the prince"

"What! next time I see him I'm gonna."

I stopped her there. "Don't hurt him even though what he is trying to do is wrong I still don't want him to get hurt."

"Fine."

Cake looked over at Marshall who was digging though his backpack probably getting stuff for the portal.

"Who's he."

I looked down for a minute. "A friend." She could always tell when I was lying. I wasn't lying about this but I didn't want her to find out that I liked him.

I looked back up just intime to she her eyes narrow in suspicion. "Uh huh sure he is."

I playfully shoved her. "Cake."

She dropped the look and laughed. It reminded me of when we younger. she was always a overprotective of me especially when it came to boys. Man I miss those days.

I heard something break. I looked over and saw Marshall standing next to a portal. I was reminded then that I had to go soon. But then I had an idea.

"Cake you should come with me. We're going to this place called aaa and its suppose to be really cool."

"I can't I have a family I have to get back to."

That's right how did I forget that. I was the maid of honor when she got married to Mochro. Well his name was Mark but we called him by his nickname.

"I wish you could."

"Me to but I'll make sure I visit this time."

I gave her a big hug then watched as she got back in the ocean and swam away.

Marshall walked over to me and put his hand on my shoulder. I felt a tear stream down my cheek I already missed her. Sounds pathetic I know but that was the first time I had got to she her in 3 years. she would always be busy or my dad would have sent me off on some stupid errand and I would have missed her.

I wiped the tear away and walked towards the portal. I watched it swirl for a minute and I was about to jump in when Marshall stopped me.

"Wait a minute. I almost forgot about something."

I watched him disappear into the woods for a moment. He was gone for a few minutes then came back out with something pink over his shoulder. he came closer and I saw that it was gumball. he looked annoyed but didn't say anything.

He came closer then said now we can go. he grabbed my hand and we jumped into it.
