Learning a secret part 2

(A.N. Don't know why it didn't upload the rest of this chapter I had a lot more written.)
I grabbed the the other torch and looked down the whole again. "Wasn't there a rope at the entrance."
"Who needs a rope when you have me." he said as he picked me up and floated down the hole."
I laughed a little. "forgot you could do that."
We floated down this narrow passage for a while till it opened up intill a huge round room. He floated down to the ground and set me down. I looked around and the room was huge and empty. Except for the torches in the old metal medical looking holders that were on each wall. All held a torch but one.
I walked over to the empty one on the other side of the wall and placed the torch. The room started to shake and in the middle of the room the floor began to fall away in a circle. I started to worry but then it stopped. A loud noise rumbling noise started and a platform was being raised in the middle of the room. It had a chest on top.
I carefully walked over to the chest incase of more surprises and opened it. There was a circular green backpack in. It was light green on top and dark green on bottom. It felt heavier then usual so I could tell there was stuff in it. I picked up a pretty black dress with metallic blue ribbons and a sword. It was kind of rusted but still looked the it would work fine. I put the dress in my bag and then put that on my back. I picked up the sword and shut the chest.
Another noise sound echoed then the flirt shook momentarily as A giant bear hit the ground. It was huge. it had to heads each with a pair of glowing red eyes and foaming mouths. it had long claws and looked angry.
And charged towards it with my sword and slashing at its legs . marshal joined in cutting it with his bass. A few minutes later he landed a really deep cut to the bears leg and it fell. I jumped on it ran up its chew and stabbed it right though heart. The bear gave out a nasty snarl then died.
I jumped off it and looked down expecting something else to come out and try to kill us. I walked back over to Marshall and said.
"Lets go before anything else truss to kill us."
He laughed some picked me up and started to fly back out of the hole we came from.
We were in the woods again walking back to the beach
" You seem pretty good with a sword. Where you a adventuress when you lived in the sea."
"No but I wished I was."
"Why didn't you then."
" My dad made sure I couldn't. He would go on about it being to dangerous and that I might get hurt. He made sure I couldn't get a weapon and made it his personal goal to know where I was every minute of the day."
We were at the beach now. I sat my stuff down on the sand.
"Is that why you ran away."
"No. The prince of our people had just came of age to rule and needed a queen. my dad made me go to a ball he held to me his subjects and he had taken a interest in me apparently.
He offered him a bunch of gold and the privileges of a royal in exchange for his permission to marry me."
"So your dad basically sold you. Why didnt you object couldn't you refuse."
"Yes I did and no I wasn't given a choice"
" What about your mom she couldn't have agree to this."
" She died when I was 10. I never found out why or how she died. My dad refused to tell me. He was never the same after."
I felt a tear run down my cheek. I wasn't suppose to cry. it had been six years since then and I was tougher than that.
Marsh noticed then and and hugged me.
"Sorry I didn't know."
" It's ok."
I felt physically and emotionally exhausted I ended fall asleep soon after.
