jin and namjoon completely rushed to jimin's house, forgetting the situation they were in before. namjoon could tell by jin's facial expressions that this particular emergency was one that mattered dearly to his heart. namjoon made sure to get to their destination as quickly as possible, the desperation evident on his face.

once they arrived, jin ran inside the house, being hit with an image of taehyung on the couch, alive, but not being able to breathe properly. namjoon was still outside, not being able to process how fast jin ran. he closed the door and rushed to jin, who was sweating while providing tae with warm towels on his forehead and space to breathe. namjoon, yoongi, and jin were all working in one swift movement, making tae is okay in the best of their abilities.

but one particular person was standing far away, regretting his decisions the jeon mafia had forced him to take.

he did not like seeing his best friend suffer because of the organization he had to work for, not in the least.

but, he owed to the jeon family, so he'd have to follow their orders like an obedient child. but sometimes even obedient children go against the rules in the most subtle ways.

a dangerous phrase had interrupted his thoughts.

"maybe we should take him to the hospital." yoongi had said. the other two nodded in agreement, but jimin strongly disagreed.

"no! don't take him there!" the desperation in jimins tone able to recognize.

"but jiminie, he's been physically and emotionally hurt one too many times." yoongi had said.

"i-i know, but it's too dangerous. it's not safe."

"it's the goddamn hospital, why is it not safe?" said yoongi.

at this point, everyone was bombarding jimin with questions.

he couldn't handle all this pressure, all this attention, and the strictness in their voices. his heart was too weak for that.

the voices in his head were starting to finally take over him, reminding him of every betrayal he had ever committed. jimin had never been so pressured before, he couldn't take it.

as soon as he was about to explode from all of the demanding questions, he blurted it out.

"b-because my mafia has been targeting him all this time and he's just n-not safe!"
