growls echoed across the cage as jungkook was forced to listen to his dad's conversation with his lover. hearing his voice through the phone was bittersweet, for his voice provided a sense of relief to jungkook, but alas, he was in extreme danger. before jungkook could even scream, give any kind of sign to his lover that he was alive, tae had hung up.

his chance of being acknowledged by his lover was gone in a quick second- dissolved into suffocating air. his father was then in front of him, his eyes and his smile conveying two different messages. his eyes upholding a sinister look, while his smile trying to convince otherwise.

"what did you tell him?"

"ah, just a little introduction on how his precious life will soon end."

"let me go."

"now, now jungkook. im trying to protect yo-"

"is physically and mentally ruining me protection to you?"

he just paused with a look of defeat on his face, and then walked out of the cage.

"they'll come for me soon enough."

"jungkook's dad has him in his base, come on we need to go get him!"

the two were restraining tae down from trying anything reckless, such as going to the base and getting killed instantly.

"tae, damn it its not safe!" jimin spoke.

"fine."

all of them were breathing heavily from the previous events.

but then another noise interrupted their noise of silence.

the kim mafia was calling.
