Petunia

    "Lukeeeeee" You dragged out his name as you keptpoking his cheek. Luke groaned and flipped over so his face was in his pillow.You gasped and sat up, "You did not just hide your face from me."

Luke said something and you leaned closer. "What? I can't hear you, your face is in the pillow remember?" Luke picked his face up and glared at you. "I said let me sleep in peace woman." You shook your head and stood up. "I was just trying to tell you you're going to be late to rehearsals."

Luke sat up quickly and tried to untangle himself from the sheets on your bed. "WHAT?! WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME?!" "I tried to do it the sweet way, but you flipped over." Luke fell out of the bed before jumping up and running around trying to pull his clothes on.

"I don't have time to take a shower, I don't have time to eat, why the hell didn't you wake me sooner?" "I woke up a few minutes ago! I thought you were going to set an alarm." Luke's eyes widened as he picked his phone up, "I DID!" "Then why didn't it go off?" "...Its on silent mode..."

You tried not to laugh at your boyfriend's distraught face as he put his phone in his pocket and walked towards the kitchen to grab his keys. "SHIT!" You rolled your eyes and followed him to see him staring at a sleeping Petunia.

"I don't have time to take her out." You walked over and kissed his lips before walking over and sitting next to Petunia and petting her. "I'll take her out Luke, it'll be fine. I'll even take her for a walk in the park." Luke let out a breath of relief and walked over to kiss your forehead and rub Petunias head, "Just be careful with her. She tugs the leash a lot, and can get out of your grip if you're not careful."

You smiled, "We'll be fineee. Go to work Luke." Luke nodded before running towards the door. "Thank you! I love you! BYE GIRLS!" You chuckled and went to get dressed before grabbing Petunias leash and walking out with her. You went to the park and walked around a bit, the whole time making sure your grip on her leash was tight because God forbid you lose this dog.

You finally decided to head back, and slowly made your way towards yours and Luke's shared apartment. When you were only a block away from your home, you were walking around a corner and accidently bumped into a man. You tripped up and dropped Petunias leash in the process. "O shit!" You said while fumbling for Petunias leash.

"PETUNIA NO!" You screamed and quickly jumped up to run after her. With her leash dragging behind her, Petunia ran and quickly got out of your sight and you tried to catch up while yelling her name.

You finally stopped running and collapsed on the sidewalk, feeling the panic start to rise as you realized what had just happened. You had lost Petunia.
