Ghost of You:

Cleaning up today

Found that old Zepplin shirt

You wore when you ran away

And no one could feel your hurt

We're too young, too dumb

To know things like love

But I know better now
(Better now)

***Luke's POV***

"Ashton, I don't think this is a good idea." I mumble out as he runs around my kitchen, setting up the drinks for the party he wanted to throw tonight.

"Look you won't get out of your funk by sitting around at your house. You gotta mix it up, make new memories here. Memories without Y/N in them." Ashton says sassily, making me barely nod my head in agreement.

"Luke, should we move all the furniture back so there's more walking space in the living room?" Calum yells, making my head snap in his direction.

"No, don't move my shit." I shout back, already upset and the party hasn't even begun. I know Ashton has a point, but I just don't think I'm ready for this.

Too many people will ask where Y/N is and I won't have a good answer for them. Calum came into the kitchen, bobbing his head to the music he had put on the speakers.

"Calum. Why is Britney Spears playing on the speakers?" "Because. Its Britney bitch." Calum sang as he did a horrible dance out of the room, trying to get away from my judgmental gaze.

"Cal turn off Britney and put on Nickelback." Ashton yelled after him before turning to glare at me. "Now. Promise me you'll try to let loose and have fun tonight."

I nod in reply, too tired to argue about how I won't have any fun. Lets just hope it doesn't go as bad as I think it will.

***The Next Morning***

I wake up with a bad headache, probably because the music was so damn loud last night. I had stood next to a speaker all night, trying to avoid conversations with 99% of the people at the party.

"Calum why in the actual hell are you on my floor?" I rasp out, my foot slightly nudging him since I almost tripped over his long legs. "Huh? What?" Calum mumbles, throwing his arms around in a frenzy.

"GOOD MORNING!!!" Ashton comes barging in, dragging a vacuum cleaner behind him and a trash bag. "ASHTON YOU PIECE OF SHIT STOPPPP." Calum yells as Ashton starts going towards his head, getting dangerously close to sucking up his tousled curls.

"Once again. Why is Calum on my floor?"

"Well your couch got flipped last night and I was too tired to flip it back over. Ashton had the guest room, so I came in here to ask where I could stay and you threw a pillow on the floor and said sleep. So...I slept." Calum explained while getting up and trying to wrestle the vacuum from Ashton.

"Wait, my couch got flipped?!" I run out into the living room to see the couch flipped over completely, the cushions spilling off of it.

"This is why I didn't want to have the damn party Ash. They trashed my house, this couch isn't cheap you know. God what if it's ripped?!" I ramble as I try to flip it over with the help of Ashton and Calum.

The couch goes upright and I see a piece of cloth fall out, making me shut up and grab it carefully.

"It's a shirt of Y/Ns....The one she wore when she ran off that time. Remember?" I quietly speak, feeling every emotion I tried to keep down bubble up to the surface.

"When you couldn't tell her you loved her back. I remember." Ashton came over and patted my back, trying to make me feel better.

"I was young and dumb. I didn't understand the concept of love and she did. I broke her heart that day, and I know better now. If I could go back and take away her hurt then I would. Maybe things would be different..." I can't even let myself finish my sentence as I stumble past Calum and grab my keys.

"Where are you going Luke?" Ashton asked, surprised at my brisk movements.

"I'm going to see Y/N."
