Prologue

"No, Karen. Tapos na tayo. Siya na ang mahal ko and I intend to spend my future with my bae. Intindihin mo naman ako. Don't be unfair," he said, tears flowing down his cheeks.

"Pero ikaw ang gusto ko! Walang iba. Hindi si X at ang vocal cords niya. Ikaw ang gusto ko at ang saging na may condensada! Sawa na ako sa bearbrand. Purgang-purga na ako." I tried not to cry. I wanted to look strong, just this once. I have to save myself from completely destructing. Alam kong may kasalanan din ako dito, because I have let X enter my life and make me fall for him. Pero si Clarence talaga eh.

He looked at me, still crying. He held both of my hands and pulled me closer to him.

"Karen, palayain na natin ang isa't isa. I'm tired, too. Please?" He pleaded. "Walang mangyayari kung ipipilit pa natin 'to. There's so much life ahead the both of us. But understand that it's not meant for us to spend it together," he said with finality.

He kissed me on the lips. Pinikit ko lang ang mga mata ko, savoring the moment.

After a few minutes, he pulled away and started to walk away from me, from what could be of us in the future.

"Clarence!"

He stopped but did not turn to look my way. I didn't know what to say. Gusto ko siyang pigilan, baka kasi nagi-inarte na naman 'to. Baka nagpapahabol lang pala. Chix nga daw kasi siya eh.

"What?" he answered coldly.

"Y-yung..." I answered, at loss for words.

"Supply ba ng gatas? Sige hindi ko puputulin sustento ko ng gatas." Then he went inside his car and drove away.

I woke up crying. Ang weird naman ng panaginip ko! Sino si Clarence, X, at bae?

Tsaka ang weird ng parting line ha. Supply ng gatas? Ang sexy ko kaya para uminom pa ng gatas!

"Hoy, Karen! Bumangon ka na nga diyan! Meron ka pang lakad ngayon 'di ba?" sigaw ni Ate Queen.

I just flipped my bangs at her kahit hindi niya naman makikita. Tumayo na ako at nag-ayos ng sarili ko.
