Venom

~Benton's POV~

I stirred from my slumber, my body felt sticky and sweaty. Why is it so warm? I felt an arm wrapped around me, securely. I couldn't budge, as my memories came flooding back from last night's events. My date with Cooper, the police chase, sex...we had sex!! I tried prying his dead weight arm from around me, but found my attempts useless. I felt his chest against my back vibrate indicating he had made some sort of sound. Damn, dad can't walk in on us like this! He would freak him out. I nudged his arm panicking, please wake up Cooper!! I managed to roll underneath his arm, my face came to the sight of his chest. I lied there frozen for what seemed like forever, just watching his chest rise and fall with every breath he took. His face was so peaceful, I almost didn't have the heart to wake him up. He was very handsome, somewhat innocent-like in his dream state. Which I've come to know that he isn't a very innocent person from what he told me last night. I hesitantly reached between our bodies, I wanted to feel his chest, his breathing. I slowly sprawl my fingers on his warm, built chest, careful to not disrupt his dreams. I rubbed his chest gently, feeling his muscles, his heartbeat through his thick exterior. So amazing, how have I never tried this, getting close to someone like this..I leaned in closer, smelling his musky scent. He was definitely a man. I lied my head on his chest, feeling his breathing. Cooper's hand moved from around my waist to cup the back of my head. I could feel my face burn, I'm caught!

I looked up at Cooper, who was looking down at me with half-lidded, chocolate eyes. He pecked me on the forehead, smiling in what I believe is complete content. I felt the same way to be honest, I've never had anyone in my bed before and it was truly a missing piece I needed to connect further with someone.

He leaned closer to my face, his lips capturing me in a lip-lock of sweet bliss. To my dismay, Cooper quickly shot up from bed, releasing his mouth from mine. He focused on something intensely, behind me, his eyes wide with terror. I felt fear rip through my chest, I rolled over quickly to see what he was staring at. Sure enough, my father had walked in, he stood frozen at the doorway.

Shock and complete confusion played on his face. I felt tears drip down my cheeks before I could even choke out something to say. Like anything I could say would make this not look like what it was.

"Dad...," I voiced.

My dad lifted his hand up, guess he knew I wanted to explain what he just walked in on, turned his head away and closed the door. My arm fell out from under me, I felt like the wind just got knocked out of me. His expression said it all, shock, disgust and disappointment. I felt sobs racking through my body, causing me to shake uncontrollably. My body all of a sudden feeling cold. My eyes blurred with tears, he hates me now. I just know it! I'm a useless son! I'm deaf, I'm gay! I can't be enough for him! The emotions flooded my head, making me gulp for air desperately. Cooper scooped me up in his arms and held me close to him. He rubbed the tears from my eyes with his thumb. Kissing my damp eyes and cheeks trying to comfort me. Eventually I caught my breath and calmed down. I was glued to Cooper, my arms around his neck, holding on tightly, enough to make my arms ache from holding on so tightly, he didn't seem to mind. Cooper rubbed circles on my back, waiting for me patiently. I finally gazed up at him, tears stung my eyes once more.

"It's going to be okay baby," I read the words that fell from his lips.

"..I'm so fucked Cooper...," I say, surprising myself. Given the circumstances, I felt it necessary for my foul language.

Cooper tipped my chin up with his finger for me to look at him in the eyes."If anything, you can come live with me," live...with Cooper?? I wasn't even really sure, at 100%, that my father would or wouldn't kick me out. Never the less, it would be a good back up plan.
