You smiled at your reflection as you carefully tugged on the hem of your fit peach colored skirt. You always dress prettily but every time you go out with him, it wasn't just that.

You want to look your best.

"Why am I smiling like an idiot?" You mumbled to yourself as you shook your head. "It's not like this is the first time we've gone out."

Yep, you are going on a date.

It wasn't actually your style to date the same guy for a month. You've always felt like the happiness a person gives you will always be short-lived.

It wasn't permanent.

The spark will totally be there at first, but then goes out in a few days.

But what was in him that made you want to keep on seeing him?

You thought to yourself that he won't be lingering for long. He wouldn't be able to keep this electrifying buzz within your system.

You're certain he will not be enough for you.

Before leaving the bathroom, you took your lipbalm and swiped it briefly on your lips. You quickly smacked your lips together and went out with a satisfied sigh.

Your phone rang as you walked to the elevator. Your date with the guy was supposed to be at 1 in the afternoon, but look at the time— 1:38 pm.

You entered the lift before looking at your phone. Your eyebrow raised in surprise as the caller wasn't the one you've expected to call, especially now that you are running late.

"Why are you calling—"

"You won't believe what I just saw."

Your eyebrows furrowed as you listened to your best friend's nervous but at the same time, irritated voice.

"What is it this time, Jennie? Why now?" You grumbled as you walked out of the lift. You saw your driver waiting by your treasured Lexus LS car. He opened the door of the back seat for you, letting you carefully get inside.

"This girl has been here for a half an hour already!" Jennie squealed in frustration, making your eyebrows meet in confusion.

"Who's she? And where's here? What the hell are you talking about?"

"You know it's my shopping day, and I was half-way finishing buying my things when I walked by the restaurant near the Gucci store..."

You grew impatient at her pause, lips pursing in both annoyance and perturbation of what she might have found.
"Then.."

"Then what, Jennie?" You snapped.

"I saw the guy you're currently seeing with a model, a very hot one at that!"

Your eyebrow furrowed, "A man or a woman—"

"Of course, a woman model, duh! I wouldn't have freaked out if he hung out with a guy. Though, it depends on what they're doing—"

You huffed at the news, leaning back at the soft cushion of your car, your best friend's voice still ringing into your ear.

So what, he's with a woman?

You kept on convincing yourself that you're not even in a serious relationship with him, so why would you care.

Hell, he can two-time or more, I won't care.
