The day of Elenora's very first lesson, it was rather hard to forget that she had it with the Gryffindors. Not when their boisterous and crude manners overwhelmed her so.

She'd been walking down the hallway with Lavender Brown, and was one of the students among a small crowd of Gryffindors walking together. Within the group was Dean Thomas, Seamus Finnigan, Parvati Patil, Lavender, and herself.

As Parvati and Lavender chatted up a storm besides the girl, Elenora could only focus on how loud Seamus and Dean were being. The two boys only got more rambunctious as they went along, arguing over what the first lesson would be like with Professor McGonagall.

"Will the two of you quit it?" snapped Elenora as soon as Dean and Seamus had begun to shove each other. Seamus knocked into her and that's when she practically burst with a strong mixture of anger and anxiousness. "You're being the loudest things in this quaint corridor and it's honestly bothersome!"

"Alright, Rosetti," snickered Dean as he and Seamus exchanged looks that aggravated Elenora even further. Pursing her lips, she tuned them out and began to contemplate what she'd do as soon as these dreadful lessons would be over.

Oh. Her feet almost stopped functioning as she remembered the letter she owed Aunt Cecilia. Elenora's mind had been too caught up with the news of being in Gryffindor to worry over anything else. How thankful she was that the lessons had begun, adding to her overwhelmed mind.

"Oh, I can't believe we're at Hogwarts already," sighed Parvati, her fingers clasping around a small, light wand. "We're almost at our first class, too—Transfiguration."

Parvati and Lavender had stopped walking now. The girls seemed to be in awe at whatever they were staring up at.

Elenora, who attempting to find what they were gazing at, was left confused. She felt like an idiot as they continued there, right next to Dean and Seamus who halted their bumbling as well.

What in Merlin's name were they staring at? Starting to get more annoyed than confused, Elenora snapped her fingers in their faces.

"What are you four looking at?" she wondered incredulously, foot tapping on stone as Seamus soon met her gaze with an bothered expression.

"There!" He grabbed her shoulders and hauled her back to where he was standing. Motioning to a classroom in front of them, Elenora was left perplexed. Was this it? "Do you have no eyes? Is that it?"

"Hush up, Finnigan," scowled Elenora at him before she shrugged the boy off and looked forwards where he pointed. There was just a classroom. It was nothing special. "What? There's nothing out of the ordinary to gaze upon or whatever you four were doing—It's a classroom."

"It's the Transfiguration classroom," pointed Lavender out with the same surprised look as before when she had been staring up at it, "Oh, this is too exciting!"

"Well, I suppose if you want to think like that, sure. It's only a classroom, though. Thomas—would you quit gawking at it?"

"How could the first classroom not be am excitement? Oh wait, that's only because you refuse to call yourself a Gryffindor, isn't it?" questioned Dean, eyeing the Ravenclaw scarf that wrapped around Elenora's neck, mostly covered by her cloak, however. "What are you, a Ravenclaw now? Too high and mighty to like any of the Gryffindors, I guess."

"I can only wish," commented Elenora weakly. How much of a big deal was it that she had to be taunted over a scarf now? It's only Gryffindor, who would it matter to, anyway? Not to her, of course.

"Rather obvious,"

With that, Dean and Seamus departed into the classroom, leaving Elenora blanching as Parvati and Lavender reassured her that they were joking. It didn't feel that way, though. Especially with the way Dean's stare followed her throughout the class.
