CASTIEL
I arrived as soon as Alex called me. She was standing in front of a mural of Scarlett. Tears sprung in my eyes and I walked up putting a hand on her face. I felt my heart sink as I felt her energy there. "She was here" I spoke softly. Sam nodded and pulled me over to a rather large fountain. Just to the left of it was a circle of broken glass. Some pieces were stuck together, and there were two pairs of footprints inside the circle, one on the outside in the morning dew. I analyzed this for a moment, then saw the print of the body that seemed slammed into the ground. I put a hand on it gently and saw the scene unfold from the demon's point of view.
She was magnificent. Walking up to him and smirking like she usually did. Her eyes burned with a passion for what she was doing. She fought him for a couple minutes looking confused as to how she knew these moves. And when the Demon yelled her name trying to alert other demons nearby, she looked startled. Did she not know who she was? "Damn you Gabriel" I spoke suddenly, startling Alex. She suddenly slammed him on the ground and in the reflection of the glass above her, I could see her wings. Large, tinted. Was she an angel? I stood up and walked over to the third set of footprints and placed a hand down.
It was Gabriel, I could tell instantly. As soon as Scar threw up her arms he ducked to avoid the flying glass, watched in awe as it all melded together. I pulled away. "She was definitely here. she doesn't remember who she is." I informed them, tears falling over my cheeks.
I'm coming for you, my demon. I spoke to myself and looked over at Alex and Sam. "We will find her."
SCARLETT DESTINY
I sat in my room at Gabriel's mansion and quickly looked up on the internet who the hell 'Scarlett Destiny Winchester' was, and why this demon knew who I was. Very little showed up. A few photos from a movie from a girl named Scarlett Johansson. Then, as I was about to close the window, I saw a missing person's poster. Sure enough, I was on the front of it, red hair and all. It read: "Missing! Beloved daughter. Scarlett Destiny Winchester Age:17 Height: 5'3" I almost lost it. I looked more into this Winchester family. House burned down with the mother inside, a male named Dean Winchester was dead. A lot of tragedy.
One image of this family, however, sent chills down my spine. A site named "Ghostfacers" had an image of three men. One was taller than the other two. The caption underneath reading "Sam Winchester, Dean Winchester, and Castiel. All jerks who don't know what they're talking about."
I stared at the man in the trench coat. I recognized him, felt a familiarity towards him. I suddenly got a flashback to a spinning room with the same man. He was smiling and we seemed to be... dancing? I turned off the computer and got up from the desk as Gabriel entered the room munching on a sandwich.
"Come. Someone wants to meet you." He spoke quickly. I obeyed and walked out into the staircase. I looked down the railing to see an older man standing there. "Scar, this is Balthazar."Shivers went down my spine and before I could think I launched myself over the railing onto the first floor and seconds after landing swung at him. He pushed my forearm away and I sent a kick towards him. He caught it and a small flash of recognition ran across his eyes.
"Gabriel. Why do you have the Winchester child?" He asked letting my foot go.
"She's leverage for Dean to say yes to Micheal. Plus, she's Lilith's final vessel." He retorted. "So hands off." Balthazar looked at me and leaned in close whispering.
"I know your father and Castiel. I will inform them." He said before backing off. "She smells of demons." He looked at Gabriel. I was confused but grateful.
"Yes, the little wretch has demon blood in her." He walked up and slapped me hard. Hard enough that I fell to the ground and slid a couple feet. I held my cheek and looked up. Above Balthazar was a portrait of a dark-haired man in a trench coat. I was captured in his eyes. Then the elder angel spoke.
"You say leave her alone but yet treat her as your own punching bag? You're worse than a demon." He walked over and extended a hand. I took it and stood up.
"I didn't mean to Balth. shit happens you know me and my anger." Balthazar looked at me with concern. His eyes screamed that he wanted to help me. But left in an instant. "Guess, he couldn't handle it?" I got up and ran back to my room. Barely shutting the doors when I started sobbing.
When I fell asleep that night I saw a cabin on a lake. I walked into the house and saw the same man from the painting, but instead of a trench coat, he wore a tee and jeans.
"Come on scar, breakfast's ready." He looked directly at me and I was about to step forward when another me walked over to him from where I was standing. What was this? A memory? A weird third person dream? I walked over to the two and was perplexed by their conversation. Mild flirting, talking about taking out Lilith... I felt a twinge of when this was from, where it was from. I wanted to keep remembering.
But I was woken up, by none other than Balthazar. He covered my mouth and motioned for me to keep quiet. We blinked and were suddenly back in Oklahoma City. He removed his hand and I stood up off of the cold ground. I brushed myself off and looked at Balthazar.
"What are you doing?" I asked. "Gabriel is really going to get mad."
"Well, he'll have to deal." He shrugged. "I brought you here because what Gabriel's doing is wrong. And, per a request." He turned me around gently. Something I wasn't used to with Gabriel. And there he was. The man I was just dreaming about.
"Scar." He looked relieved and swept me up into his arms. "It's you, it's really you." He laughed and stepped back looking at me. "I know you don't know who I am. But I had to see you."
"I know who you are. You're Castiel. Gabriel had a photo of you hanging up." I spoke looking at the man, his scruffy beard, untamed hair. Every inch of him. He was mildly attractive and seemed kind.
"But do you know who I am?" He asked stepping closer.
"From dreams, I've been having it seems that we're very close. But I cant say how or why." I informed him scratching my head.
"I'll try and work on her memories Cas," Balthazar spoke. "It may take a while."
"whatever it takes." Cas said falling to his knees and held my hand.
