~A Demon's Fate~

Misaki pov

After the treatment was over I walked over to smell the scent of the demon boy by me.

"How'd it go?" Hiei asked.

"Well...." I tilt my head to the side whipping around facing the coworker and my mother.

"Your daughter is going to have a surgery this week on a tomorrow. Be sure to be here at 8 in the morning." She told my mom as I tremble at the thought of it.

"That would be wonderful." I heard my mother as Hiei places a hand on my shoulder.

"So you've got a surgery tomorrow? You nervous?" He asked.

"A-A little. It's my first one and they say this is the only way to get my sight back." I replied with my hands trembling that Hiei must be noticing how frighten I am because of it.

"I see. Your feeling afraid to go along with the treatment and surely what I think its-" I cut him off by embracing Hiei in a hug as I cuddle close as he may be surprise of this action we're in.

"Please....Please be at the surgery therapy when it happens. I'm scared of what they might do wrong or unlike what my parents are doing this for me to see again. If you can just be there I can feel...safe." I cried as he soften and wrapped his arms around me as I felt warm.

"I can reassure you that nothing won't go wrong as long as things go right as plan. Hopefully, we can just keep holding out for what this surgery therapy would lead us to." Hiei reassured.

"Thank you. So, will you come?" I asked.

"Of course. I guess your the one that is scared of bad luck." He said.

"HEY!" I playfully punch him as he chuckle under his breath.

"Misaki, the doctor said that the surgery will begin tomorrow around 8 a.m. So we better get you some outfits and be here at the hospital asap." My mother said.

"Right. Well, I better get going and i'll see you tomorrow Hiei." I waved.

"Miss Rina! The doctor says that it would be better if you bring your daughter at the hospital instead so that you won't have to rush early in the morning." The co-worker said.

"That would be great!" My mother beamed.

"I guess I can come visit you tonight and wish you good luck at the matter." Hiei said.

"Will you?" I smiled ear to ear.

"Defiantly." He promised. 

"Great! See you tonight then." I smiled.

~Night Time~

Hiei Pov

It has been a long day since I have been with Misaki recently after her appointment and the thought of her getting her eye sight got me. Her parents are praying to hope it will help if she can see again. I'm wondering what she is like with her bandages off when she reveals her eyes of the color by her parents. I was walking to get to the hospital as promise that it may be the only time I can ever see her again since its a demons fate for me to go through after stealing  a valuable treasure that I feel kind of thankful for the matter of meeting Misaki. After all, what's there to give for something that you think its bad would develop anything from someone that is different from they've been experiencing. I then sensed a dark presence as I looked around to see nothing but its not simple to trick me at a night like this.

"Show yourself!" I demanded.

I notice it was only royal perks from the demon world that were part of the 3 kings protectors or advisors. 

"Hiei Jaganshi, you are under arrest for stealing the most valuable unaware item you've took from the 3 kings. Just for that, its bad for the matter if we let you slip away and leave our sight like the night you stole the item." One guard said as I clench my knuckles.

"Give me one good reason why I should return it to you? It's not like you all have any use for it anyway." I replied.

"That's isn't true as you think! Hand over the item now or they'll be consequences." He threaten.

I smirked at the thought of a fight with these cowards was worth the time I needed. However, I've had kept my promise to Misaki that i'll be at the hospital with her from what trouble that i'm in now.

"Hn, I will like to see you all try." I said pulling out my sword ready to fight as always.

Misaki Pov

I was in my pj's looking out the window that the moon shined bright and the stars were out. Where is Hiei though?

Hiei Pov

I was panting heavily that these guys don't give up a fight and that was when I was caught off guard to feel one of them strangle me and took the Time Locket that was around my neck. He placed his large foot on my head smirking evilly down at me as so did the rest.

"Haha, I accept your battle with each of us and thank you for keeping the item safe. For now, your band to return to Demon Realm and to stay here forever in the 3 kings orders. Farewell, Hiei." He cackled as they left as I struggle to stand up.

"No..T-The Time...Locket." I grunted before blacking out and collapsed.
