Jacks POV:
I shoved myself though the crowd of "fans", trying to reach the middle. In the middle, on the ground, I saw Zach on his hands and knees with a girl on top of him, hitting his head and back. I could hear his horrifying screams above the yelling girls. I grabbed the girls waist and threw her off Zach and punched her in the face. But I didn't have time for that right then. I grabbed Zach and pulled him up, putting my arms around his chest, which was half exposed now with holes and tears in his shirt. I could feel the girls' fists hitting my back as I pushed through the crowd, Zach in front of me. Finally we got out from the crowed and I pushed Zach in front of me and whipped around slapping a girl behind me that was pulling at my shirt. "RUN! RUN ZACH!" I screamed and pushed her backward then turned back around and ran after Zach. We got to the bus and jumped in, and I slammed the door behind me and heard the girls pounding against it. "Drive, Daniel!" We quickly lost them. I held onto the pole near the door to the bus, coughing, hunched over. I looked back up and saw Zach, weeping, laid out on the couch with Jonah talking softly to him. Not thinking much of it I went over to the kitchen and grabbed the first-aid kit from the cabinet. I went back over to Zach and Jonah and knelt down examining Zach. His hair was a mess, he had a black eye, he practically didn't have a shirt on, and his knee was bleeding through his pants. "Oh...oh no." I whispered my eyes clouded. Jonah looked up at me, "You don't look too good yourself, your lips and knuckles are bleeding." I turned over my hands and noticed indeed they were bleeding. I shrugged and muttered, "Zach needs help first." Jonah turned back to Zach and pulled him upright and ripped his shirt open. I opened my mouth to say something but thought better of it. Jonah was just trying to help. I opened the first-aid kit and pulled out some bandages. "Look at this!" I heard Jonah say and looked up. Zach was laying on his belly, his head on Jonah's lap, and his arm gripping Jonah's thigh tightly. He was in a lot of pain, I knew. Most of all, his back. There was huge black and purple bruises dotted everywhere and blood running down his back and shiny sweat glistening. He was still weeping, and now, so was I.
