Kuroko slowly opened his eyes and examined his surroundings.
'This...is not my room. '
He tried getting up when he realizes a blood transfusion equipment connected on his body then some bandages on the head and torso.
'Who would even be caring enough to bring me to the hospital. They could've just left me there and died from blood loss.' He thought to himself and shifts his attention when a familiar doctor walks in.
"Glad you're awake, Kuroko. How are you feeling?"
"Horrible." Kuroko responded with a hoarse voice.
The doctor checks on him and observed some late appearing wounds.
"I see that. This is why I told you to bring your lucky items everyday and listen to oha-asa fortune telling every morning."
"My apologies, Midorima-sensei. I'm just not really cut out for those." Kuroko smiles and looked at the cherry blossom tree outside the window.
The wind blew on the tree and brought some petals in and landed on the floor or on Kuroko's blanket.
"Nee, sensei." Kuroko called out to the doctor.
"Yes?" Midorima looked at the bluenette as he checked his record.
"Why are you so stupid?"
