Kuroko was dialing Sakurai's contact while on his way to school. But to his unfortunate, the kouhai could not be reached at the moment.

Suddenly, he notices the students chattering in groups.

"Did you hear about the first year that suddenly transferred in the middle of the semester?"

"oh! I heard about him! People were actually gossiping about it at the station this morning."

"They said that his mother suddenly disappeared when a guard checks the CCTV found inside the elevator at Midorima Hospital"

"Dude! That sounds so unrealistic. She can't possibly just disappear in thin air. Maybe it was edited?"

"But it's true! Also, their family decided to move since the father was found dead the next day. Investigators said that he was suffocated while asleep. They found out that the mother was the suspect but couldn't be brought to the court unless they find her."

"Maybe Satan already pulled her down to hell."

The students began laughing and one of them spotted the teal head.

"Hope they should've just taken the more useless one instead."

They continue to laugh as Kuroko just kept walking.

The teal head enters the student council room and went to his table.

"Prez!" The secretary called out to him.

"Is there something wrong?" Kuroko said.

"Not actually, it's about the upcoming School Festival. Each class should start planning on their booths and we~ also need to prepare the victory ball in the evening."

Kuroko sighs.

"A theme is also needed for the program. I suggest that later this afternoon, we hold a meeting", he hands out a memorandum.

"I shall inform the others immediately",the secretary leaves the room while carrying the memo in his hands.

Kuroko picks up the mirror on his right and glared directly at the red head demon on his 'supposed' reflection.

"I'm not sure of what you did last time...but I can assure that it is something I would never approve of", he said.

Akashi responds with a mocking smile.

"My~ I thought their bullying does not affect you^^."

"I'm talking about Sakurai! What happened to him?!" Kuroko exclaimed.

"I simply granted his wish and in exchange, his soul."

"Is this what you were planning all along??!"

Kuroko startled  as he notices his surrounding turn crimson . He was suddenly standing in a field of grass and sees a dead tree at the middle.

"A mortal's sin cannot be erased for it will still be imprinted on thy blood. Granting one's ambition comes with a price." Akashi dictated in Kuroko's conscience.

A gush of wind blew on the teal head as a flashback of events recalled to Kuroko.

He remembers the time he handed a flower to the latter.

"What was that flower gave him?" Kuroko walks towards a lake and approaches the group of red unfamiliar flowers surrounding it.

"It is called a Lycoris . Also know as the Spider Lily. It represents death and is well known to the underworld. "

The teal head was about to touch a petal when the red demon continues.

"The flower is also known to be poisonous."

Kuroko stops and stared at the flower swaying from the breeze.

"Then why did you concede his revenge towards his mother ?!" He exclaimed to Akashi as he stared at the reflection on the water.

"It was just out of my curiosity.

Revenge is something we all thirst for when people hurt us. But is it worth the price you’ll have to pay for it?

Is it worth getting revenge just to satisfy your anger? Will it make your life any better? They tend to sacrifice anything to achieve satisfaction. "

"But that doesn't help solving anything!" Kuroko stood up and accidentally stumbles on the edge then falls in the lake.

He slowly opened his eyes and almost lost his breath in fear as he sees several suffering souls and drowning bodies at the deepest part of the lake.

They were screaming in pain while the teal head almost reached the bottom, a hand grabbed his foot and began pulling him in.

He tried swimming back up but the souls kept pulling stronger.

The Demon Emperor's voice echoed in his conscience.

Kuroko gasps and sits up properly as he realizes himself still in the student council room. But the afternoon bell rung loudly, reminding the students that it was already time to go home.

He checks outside the window then several students were already leaving the school.

"I'm scared...." Kuroko whispered to himself while gripping on his chest.
