I see Zach making out with another girl. My heart shatters. I immediately run away and out of the house I go. Into the street. I don't get very far until my knees give out and I'm stuck in the middle of the road crying. "Evelyn!!" I don't know who said it but it was a guy. I turn around. It's Daniel. I get up and run to him and jump into his arms. I wrap my legs around him and he holds me and hugs me. I'm crying into his shoulders. He puts me down. "What happened? Why did you just run out here crying?" He asked me. "I-I was talking to Corbyn and then I wanted to tell Zach about what I was gonna do and then I walk into his room to find him making out with another girl!" I could barley get it out. I'm bawling into tears. All of my makeup is now running off my face and smeared. "Evelyn, everything is gonna blow over. Zach is trying to get over you. It's not gonna work but, after his last girlfriend, he turned into a madhouse. Bringing a different girl home every night. Then he met you, and you changed his life. Now you and Corbyn are together." Daniel said trying to comfort me. It didn't work. "Corbyn has a breakup too!! It's not just Zach." I say. "Yes I know, but Zach doesn't have you." Daniel says. A light bulb goes off in my head. Actually a couple do. 1. What if Zach doesn't actually like me and he is just trying to get over his last girlfriend
2. What if Zach is doing this to make me jealous and pick him over Corbyn
3. What if Corbyn is trying to make Zach jealous by him having me
I tell Daniel my theories and he thinks they are all stupid. "Evelyn that is ridiculous! Corbyn and Zach talk to me not together but whatever, they always tell me how much they love you. They want you forever!" Daniel said. "Omg!" I say crying, "Why did Corbyn have to comment on my Instagram post?" "Evelyn, everything happens for a reason, remember that." Daniel said. "Thank you so much Daniel, you make everything better, I'm so happy I get to say you are my bestfriend." I tell him. He smiles. He lifts up my chin with two fingers. We are just sitting there looking at each other. Is Daniel the one I should be with? No, I have to deal with Zach and Corbyn. I go inside and Zach is sitting on the couch and when I walk in, he gets up.
