I read through Niall's paper and I'm surprised. It is completely different from his first paper, which is a good thing. I change a few words and add a few things. It only takes me an hour, but Niall still isn't back. I look over at Rae and she is sound asleep on Niall's bed. She insisted on waiting for me. I don't know why she was worried. I have taken pills and drank before. I have actually done a lot worse. I guess I should wake her up so we can leave.

"Rae, I'm done. We can go home now," I quietly say.

She doesn't move so I shake her softly. Rae slowly opens her eyes and smiles at me.

"What time is it?" Rae stretches as she talks.

"It's almost two p.m. We should probably go home and get ready for day three of rush." I smile at Rae.

"Skit day. Are you ready for it?" I can hear the humor in Rae's voice.

"I am ecstatic," I sarcastically respond.

"I knew you would be." Rae hops off the bed and walks over to me.

We quietly walk back to the sorority house. I know she has questions for me and I have questions for her, but neither of us know how to break the silence. I can feel her relief and disappointment. It might be a good thing that Niall and I won't be friends after all. I already have Rae here to judge me. After three years Rae knows that I'm not going to change who I am. She accepts me for who I am, no matter what. I look over at her and she gives me a weak smile. We still don't say anything. Once we reach the sorority house I notice that my car is gone.

"Do you know where my car is?" I say finally breaking the silence.

"Probably at Niall's place still. He used it last night to drive us over to his dorm." Rae glances over at me.

"Why didn't we drive home?" Why didn't Rae say something before?

"Do you have keys with you?" Rae raises an eyebrow at me.

"Oh."

Then the silence comes back. Rae seems really upset. I don't know what to say, because I refuse to apologize for being myself. I guess Rae is going to remain upset. We slowly walk up the stairs.

As we pass some of the girls who live here to our room they give us weird looks. I don't really think much of it. I probably did something last night and they are all quietly laughing at me. I walk into our room first and freeze. The room is torn apart. Clothes are everywhere. The beds are unmade. Both of the desks are a disaster. Each drawer is pulled open and different papers are scattered all over.

"What the heck?" Rae quietly says while walking up next to me.

Before I can respond I hear cupboards in the bathroom being opened and slammed shut. Then I hear a very distinct Irish accent.

"Where the hell is it?" Another drawer is slammed shut. "Ahh, here it is."

I hear a pill bottle being shaken. Realization hits me and I sprint to the bathroom. I enter the room just in time to watch Niall pour my pain killers into the toilet. I stand in the doorway shocked for only a second.

"Niall, what the fuck?" I run over to him and grab the bottle. It is completely empty.

"I'm doing this for your own good." Niall simply says while flushing the toilet.

I try to push him away from the toilet. I don't really know why since it won't help anything. The pills are already in the toilet. I pull my eyes away from the toilet and glare at Niall.

"What are you thinking?" I cross my arms.

"I'm making sure you don't try to hurt yourself again." Niall mimics me and crosses his arms.
