"Wake up, wake up! First day of school," Rae cheerfully sings. I groan and grab my pillow to cover my head. "Come on Jess. We don't want to be late."
"Why did I let you talk me into this?" I grumble as I slowly sit up.
"Because you love me." I scoff at her. "Oh come on! Louis and Harry are in the class as well! It is going to be so fun!" Rae is too excited at eight in the morning.
"Who wants to bake at nine in the morning?" It's weird that they offer this class so early.
"We sure do," Rae answers me.
I slowly get out of bed and leave my room to fight for counter space and mirror time. I showered last night so I don't have to fight for the shower. I'm surprised to find not too many girls in the bathroom. I grab my straightener and make up bag. I grab some counter space and start doing my make up while I wait for my straightener to heat up. It doesn't take that long, but I just like to do my make up first. Once that's finished I straighten my hair.
I head back to my room when I'm done and start looking through my closet. I don't know what to wear and I really don't care. Rae looks super cute so should I dress cute like her or go with my leggings and t-shirt? I guess I can look cute for the first day. Everyone will want to take pictures anyways.
I decide on a pair of black short shorts with a black crop top tank top where the straps criss cross in the back. I have a black shawl thing to go over it. I'm wearing just a pair of all black converses to go with it.

When I walk downstairs to the kitchen I see Rae talking to some other girls. They are all dressed in summer type clothes. Many different bright colors.
"All black, of course," Rae teases me.
"Bright yellow, really?" I tease Rae right back.
She is wearing a bright yellow skirt with a striped shirt. She can pull off anything. If I wore it, I would look like a little bumble bee. Rae just looks cute and fashionable.

"Bright colors are my favorite! Are you ready to go?" Rae smiles at me and then throws me one of her homemade breakfast bars.
"Let me grab a water and then we can leave." I walk into the pantry and grab two bottles of water.
