"A large pepperoni, a medium meat lovers and some breadsticks, is that good sweetheart?" Mum asked as I typed down the order into my phone.
"Yeah. I'm taking Nathan's car though," I smirked as I turned my head towards him. Nathan; my older brother, by a year.
Growing up we were inseperable - we're still close but seeing we were so different, we don't grip onto eachother every second of the day.
Nathan was rather good looking, he had dark brown hair messily resting on his head. His eyes were a darker shade of brown but had hazel patches peaking through. He was six feet tall and he was rather broad, not too much though.
"Why can't you take Mum's? Can't you just get Nick to drive you?" Nathan furrowed his eyebrows. As much as he loved me, he knew I was a clutz. His car was relatively new; I could understand where he was coming from.
"Nick's coming over later," I shrugged before continuing. "It's a Friday night. I am not going to the most popular pizza joint in town, in Mum's Smart."
"Whatever, but if you scratch it, you patch it," Nathan shrugged using his shoulders, then throwing me his car keys having them land perfectly in my hand.
I shook my head before turning around, my small body crashing into something smaller; Cole.
Cole was my younger brother; he was six years old to be exact. He had light brown hair and his eyes were more similar to mine. His face was consumed in light freckles, adorableness surrounding him.
"Can I come with?" His soft voice asked. Cole was very close to us, me in particular. Maybe it was because of everything we've been through, given that Nathan didn't talk much about dad.
"Why don't you help mum make desert?" I giggled at him, trying to divert his attention. He squealed excitedly before moving towards my mum.
"See you guys in a bit," I said before walking out of the kitchen. I stopped by the mirror at the door, looking at my tank top and sweatpants.
"Screw it," I mumbled before opening the door. I walked towards Nathan's Mercedes. I don't blame him for taking care of this car so well.
I hopped into the driver's seat and inserted the key. I reached for the auxiliary cord, playing one of my Spotify playlists. 'Diana' by One Direction began to play through the speakers, myself humming to the beat.
I put the car in drive and reversed out of the driveway. I was cautious with driving, enjoying the vocals in the music. "I swear to God these boys can't be real," I said to myself just before the chorus began to play.
After driving towards the centre of the town for about ten minutes, singing along to the amazing tunes beaming through the speakers. I could already recognize a few cars parked, I didn't acknowledge them much.
I parked the car in the corner, making sure it's locked multiple times. I threw the key into my pocket and walked into the Pizza Hut.
I could notice a few kids from my school, some people whom I wasn't too thrilled about. Specifically, Ashley Harris and Blake Smith. They were the two most popular kids from the Juniors; and their greatest hobby was picking on me.
I shook the thought of them off and moved towards the cash, giving the Cashier my order and paying him the designated amount. I had about a twenty minute wait so I sat on a stool, scrolling through Instagram and Twitter.
I wasn't really popular, usually I'd be lurking on the One Direction boys, don't judge me okay? I mean Harry's hair and Niall's accent; everything about the boys was perfection.
"Carter Davis?" The Cashier called. I locked my phone and tugged it into my pocket, standing up to get my pizza.
I grabbed the three boxes and once I turned around, I was faced with a very devilish looking Ashley. I mentally rolled my eyes, not in the mood for this.
"Going to eat your insecurities away? Trust me, that's the last thing you need honey," Ashley smirked, pride consuming her.
I took in a deep breath, "I'm sorry. I didn't realise your number one priority for a Friday night was to pick on me," I sent her an obviously fake grin.
I didn't even bother to hear what she had to say and just began to walk. I felt a leg hit onto mine, making me trip, almost dropping everything. A feeling of relief came over me when a pair of arms caught me.
I regained my balance and looked up, finding soft brown curls and chocolate brown eyes. I giggled sort of embarassed, "That's not my ideal first impression."
"Don't worry about it. I'm probably the biggest clutz you'll ever meet," He chuckled, moving his arms from me, making it less awkward.
"Nobody can beat me," I chuckled continuing our banter, "I'm Carter, by the way."
"I'm Bradley but everybody calls me Brad," He introduced himself. His voice sounded like the most soothing meoldy I'd ever heard.
"I'm not some social butterfly but I'm pretty sure I haven't seen you around before," I added, assuming he wouldn't be here often. That would be a bummer, it'd be cool to have a decent guy around.
"You couldn't have. I just moved here, I'm transferring to Eastwood high," He informed me. I couldn't help but smile at the fact that he was here permenantly.
"I was wondering about joining the Varsity Soccer Team, I played at my old school," He continued to explain.
"Lucky for you, you just bumped into the Team Captain's sister," I sent him a playful wink. "I'll let my brother know, he owes me a favour."
"You seem really cool, want to hang out for a bit?" He asked me, a smile on his face. At first I was confused, didn't he see the boxes I was holding?
"I'd love to but my brothers are claiming me for the night," I chuckled before letting a crooked smile settle on my face. "But can we please rain check it? You seem really cool, Carter."
"Same goes, Brad," I chuckled. "Look for me in the halls, yeah?"
I began to walk away, both of us colliding shoulders. "I wouldn't dream of walking through them without you," He said with a soft yet masculine giggle.
I finally approached Nathan's car, throwing the pizza's onto the passenger seat. I sat down and understood everything that just happened.
"Holy Crap that boy is something," I grunted with a smile on my face. I didn't know, he was making me feel ten thousand feelings at one go - Damn I hate boys.
