I cautiously parked the car into our drive-way and I noticed Nick was already here; you can't really miss his Mustang. I could already hear the boys complaining, but it's alright - Brad was worth it.
Ever since what happened with Dylan, I haven't talked to any other boys besides Nick and my brothers. Maybe it was because of who they are? Or maybe I was just afraid?
I know it's vey cliché but something about Brad is different. The way his eyes crinkle when he smiles and the way his curls lay messily on his head but still look cute: Damn.
I shook the thoughts from my head and grabbed the now rather cold Pizza boxes and got out of the car, making sure it's locked. I didn't bother searching for my keys and just knocked on the door.
"What the hell took you so long?" Nathan rolled his eyes, making me chuckle. I walked in and closed the door behind me - I could already hear him grumble that he was going to have to reheat it.
"Hey shortie," Nick teased before wrapping me into a quick hug. I couldn't help but smile at his approach; we've been best friends for sixteen years and his hugs still have the same effect on me.
Me and Nick. Nick and I. That's how it was when we were growing up. Obviously I had Nathan but he had his own friend too. Our parents were best friends so we'd always be at eachothers' houses.
Nick was always there for me, through everything. We had similar characters so we went on pretty well, obviously we conflicted at some points but we got through it, always.
"Carter!" Cole squealed running towards me and engulfing my legs in a hug. I bent down towards him and pecked his nose, "You just want the pizza, don't you?"
He innocently laughed and went to sit down on the couch. Brad crossed my mind and I figured I'd might as well talk to Nathan about it.
I walked into the kitchen and to my surprise he wasn't alone: Froy was over. I didn't mind him, he had a good heart and even though he was a pain in the arse, he'd do anything to help us out.
Let's just say he's known for being flirtatious and leading someone on, but they wouldn't last more than a night, you know?
"Hey Froy," I greeted him before directing my attention to Nathan. "Nathan, can I talk to you for a minute?"
Nathan shrugged turning to face me, resting his back on the kitchen counter. "What's up?" He asked, implying for me to tell him.
"There's this boy transferring to our school and he really wants to join Varsity Soccer, do you think you can help him out?" I asked with a flat smile on my face, waiting for his approach.
"Carter, you know I can't let just anyone join the team," Nathan said, trying to shut me down.
"I swear he's good. He used to play at his old school. Could you at least let him try out?" I pleaded as I began to ramble. I don't know why I cared so much to be honest.
"I'll figure something out, who is this guy anyways?" Nathan asked moving closer to the island I was resting on.
"He just transferred here. He saved me from complete embarrassment at Pizza Hut so I figured I owe him, you know?" I said, not giving him too much detail.
"And you're not attracted to him in any way?" Froy jumped onto the conversation, my brother perking a brow at me.
"He's not ugly, but seriously can you try and help him out," I said, trying to be as discreet as possible. Nathan nodded and turned back to the oven. I decided to go upstairs and get changed into something cozier.
I caught a glimpse of Nick and Cole playing in the living room and couldn't help but smile. I quickly went up the staircase and jogged towards my room.
I figured I'd change out of my outfit; given that I'd probably fall asleep sometime tonight. I put on a pair of black leggings and a cropped maroon sweatshirt.
I didn't do anything to my hair, I just let the regular waves flow down my back. I took out my lenses and put on my glasses, making my eyes feel a sudden rest.
I trottled down the staircase and found mum on the single arm chair, looking at Nick and Cole. "How are your parents Nick? I haven't gotten the chance to call them," My mum asked him.
"They're not bad and it's alright. Everybody's busy, no?" Nick made my mum feel better. Soon my attention was directed to the two boys coming into the family room, with three boxes.
They laid out the pizza boxes on the table and everyone took a seat on the couch. Nick sat next to Cole and Nathan sat next to Froy. I was thrown right into the centre; in between Cole and Froy.
Everyone leaped forward for a breadstick or a slice, I got the biggest slice from the Pepperoni pizza; my favourite. Everybody remained silent as we ate the pizza and suddenly Nathan caught Froy and I off guard, "Say cheese!"
Froy and I couldn't help but laugh as the flash went off, our mouths filled with pizza. "That's going on my story," Nathan said confidently. I shook my head, letting it pass.
"What movie are we watching?" Froy asked, taking another bite from his slice. I was about to talk bit acknowledged Nathan thinking.
"How about a Marvel movie? We haven't watched one in a while," Nathan suggested before taking another slice from the middle.
"Tom Holland sounds pretty good," I chuckled before taking another bite, "How does Spiderman Homecoming sound?"
"Spiderman!" Cole squealed making all of us chuckle. I couldn't help but shake my head, "The decision's been made."
As Nathan found the movie, Cole was curling up into Nick making my heart awe. I was kind of sad that Cole wasn't turning to me but I know Cole loved Nick and vice versa.
Suddenly I felt my phone vibrate. I assumed it was going to be a text from Mia or something so I just pulled my phone out and glanced at the screen.

This wasn't anything remotely romantic; I've known Froy since Nathan went to Pre-School. Froy has had his attemptations to flirting but he was like a brother in my eyes and he was a pretty comfortable pillow for watching movies.
Froy was definitely going to do the same thing himself, he threw his arm around me and rested his head on mine as we watched the movie.
I couldn't help but smile at Tom Holland ninety percent of the time. Eventually I found myself falling into slumber, Froy's arms still around me.
